I am from India and have given my heart to Jesus, it was my wife who had introduced me to this faith. It is her who has her knee bent before the Lord, who always keeps me in her prayers. I picture myself singing this after all the years we have spent together.

When I was a child my mother would take me to church and this song and many others we would sing. They are precious memories. I am 76 now. I pray for my children's salvation every day. I miss you mom and dad. The old days are so precious. People were real and majority loved Jesus. I wish I could give them a hug again.

I lost my Mommy & Daddy 7 months apart in 2019/2020. I’m still relatively young, mid 30s. It hurts so bad sometimes. I can’t listen to this song without crying as hard as I did at the funeral. I’m so thankful I had parents who were believers and raised me in the church. The line about their prayers still linger on is so true. 🙏

We had this played at my moms funeral Nov 3rd,2023..My mom and I sang this together 4 months before she passed.I miss and❤love her so very much She was 96 and had 7 children.REST IN PARADISE MOM, YOU TRULY DESERVE IT.

What a beautiful old song from my past. This year I lost my Father in January and my Mother in June. She heard Alan sing this before she died and told me how much it meant and made her cry. I have always been impressed with the fact that two male super stars, Elvis & Alan Jackson, would & could sing christian gospel with such ease and conviction! Obvious comfort to their souls and certainly mine!

My grandmother was born in 1889. I am 67, this song was played at her funeral and it still brings back her precious memory. What a lady. She was American Indian, Mexican and Irish. Didn’t learn proper English until she was 8 or 9. Told the best the best stories of her growing up and all the things she lived through.

In a small Oklahoma country church, we sang this at my grandma's funeral. This always moves me immensely.

My husband died a year ago in March, these songs have helped me so very much! Still miss him, cry a little everyday but it is getting a little better! Know we will meet again someday in heaven and all will be alright!

I am saved! My Jesus died for me . I could tell you all the miracles Jesus has done for me. Would take me the rest of my life! I have an old hound dog, been with me 13 years + , hurts, moves slow, not much teeth left, old bones, bad protector in his day. NOW he is old. He whimpers in pain. It is sad, and breaks my heart! I prayed for him. I have given him all meds that I know how to, to ease the pain. Pray for him.

Bringing us much healing after Mom's funeral. She passed on 6/05/2021 and while we are Catholic, I can't begin to tell you what these hymns have brought us. I listen now to Alan Jackson's hymns album all afternoon (Dad's Methodist so I discovered through him). I am so grateful to have found them! Played Alan Jacksons gospel album over and over and layed by my husbands ear during his dying days a yr ago(3/7/19). Every visitor that came to visit him said it was the best they have ever heard. I still continue playing it as it's very special to me now also. Love Alan's music.

These old Hymns take me back to my childhood. Many churches are straying away from them. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family. These songs bring tears to my eyes as I see how far away from God our Blessed Country is falling away from God. Our prayer is that we can be instrumental in guiding others to our Precious Savior!
