Erik Ten Hag is quality and there ain’t no if buts or maybe’s. Everyone too quick to jump on the criticise Ten Hag bandwagon. The man’s got more in his locker, you’ll see. GGMU🔴
Mctominay never has and never will be good enough for United. The fact he played so many games just tells you how bad a state United have been in over the years 👍
@@Adrian-oh7vl most fans would play like they had the united crest tattoed on their heart, he simply isnt the standard united need. We’ve been in a bad way over the years and he has also been part of that period
@@terry3252 he really doesn’t. Mctominay doesn’t even have a set position. I like him, gave a lot but onto bigger and better things if United are too be serious again
Yeah tell that to park ji sung, Darren fletcher, rafael and plenty others who weren’t “world star quality” under saf but still fulfilled a role, played for the shirt and did what was asked of them. Mctominay saved United multiple times last season, if not for him United would have ended up in the bottom 10. Both in front of goal and defensively. Unfortunately eth can’t see the value in that
Jesus christ! It is not a crisis at United. United were the better team and lost due to bad luck. It will happen again and it will happen to every other team this season. The football is a lot better than last season when they had huge injury problems. Similar to when Liverpool finished out of the champions league positions, because Van Dyk got injured. perspective goes a long way. McTominay is not a champions league/league title winning level midfielder. His overall game is just not good enough.
@@scottjames5175 lost to bad luck? Why do u guys always do this thing where man utd did not lose because they were bad, it's always "we were unlucky" or "the better team lost"...can we just accept what happened the way it happened, Man Utd was bad and the highlights make them look better. Amad was bang average passing back a lot and losing possession but the 2 counter attacking highlights made it seem like he was Robben level. Milner at one point sprinted from center midfield right past Mainoo and got a shot off while Mainoo was jogging back, tried running when he saw Milner sprinting and then just gave up, a young lad getting gassed by a old man, thats how bad Man Utd was and u call that "better performance than last season" in literally the start of the season, it could get worse by November mate. Plus Brighton had more chances than united to ice the game.
@vincentvries9854 No No No. Last year United were awful and rightly deserved to lose a lot of games. United are showing signs of improvement this season and are recruiting in the right areas. They were the better side for most of this game, but had an unlucky goal ruled offside which massively changed the moment of the game. What is happening is going to take time, just like Arteta had at Arsenal before they became a genuinely good team again. Despite all of the player issues happening at United, Ten Haag still managed to guide the club to back to back domestic trophies. That fact should not be over looked.
Bruno will cost ETH his job. Who is suppose to be the glue in the middle? Why can’t uTD control games? Look no further than the plp who cannot protect the ball. Don’t forget your fav winger can’t keep the ball as well.
@@martinooi1021 Patience is needed here. He hasn't being starting Garnacho on the left due to lack of match fitness. Rashford will likely get benched very soon in favour of Garnacho and Amad on the wings. Probably De Ligt and Zirkzee starting soon too. I wouldn't panic yet.
We don’t need a player to come on to score late goals,we need players to win games in real time! Scott wants to play football and I admire what he’s doing. He’s not quite good enough for United,I wish he was but we need players on the bench that we think should be playing from the start! Scott isn’t that!
I think it’s a good thing for young English players to play in foreign countries and play in different leagues and also to be selected to bring a different style to the England team that is if they get selected
That's a good thing. Why would they react to one win. They weren't reacting to one loss were they. It's better than sky sports, who have done the same thing, however, are now posting videos stating that Chelsea could win the league.
What about the entire change of ownership of the last 12 months? There have been like 200 staff departures from the club. Last thing we need is another change of first team manager
Media have had it in for eth since day 1 .. hes actually won 2 trophies .. yeah hes made mistakes but they played some good football in spells . Injuries and desdwood at the club . Luke shaw hasnt plsyed since feb 😤
Why would the media have it 4 ETH since day 1...pls stop this victim mentality, or are we supposed to bang on whole day about Utd being the biggest club i.t.w, whatever that means
They've had it in for him since his second season. Deserved. United scraped that fa cup and had they not th would be gone. Replacing a decent keeper with a trash keeper and not buying a proven striker and mid field instead of mount was enough for him to get sacked. He will be gone by Christmas and hopefully trash fans will also be gone with him like yourself
That's the way it goes, MU scored late against Fulham, didn't deserve to win, same Brighton, ridiculous MU playing a false nine, ridiculous making so many late subs especially Maquire, a CB, organiser of back 4, defense, no manager does that.
Random cut at 3.03? During a fans call in. Then calling him silly a few moments later with no explanation, thanks talksport. Music cutting in unexpectedly aswell. Great journalism there 🙄
Mctominays criminally underated he’s better then cleverly, fletcher,Anderson and Gibson to name a few premier league winning midfielders! If he was under fergie would have been the perfect squad player like park hi sung was
I don’t think you watch united games. Anderson and fletcher. Those are ball playing midfielder. Mctominay is mid. He’s not good. Can’t even position well McGinn is better than him.
Feel sorry for him? Nobody is forcing him to start Mason mount/Bruno upfront over an actual 9 in Zirkzee. He starts Maguire over De Ligt. Doesn’t start Garnacho. It’s a strong squad and the players are there to do well. Ten Haag is holding United back
@@levymukombwa6127It’s not about relaxing or not. Any manager that can play an attacking midfielder as a striker over a legitimate number 9 is causing their own downfall. That on top of starting Maguire who has been the brunt of jokes for years is laughable. Ten Haag isn’t the man for United as much as it pains me
Zirkzee isn't an actual #9. He's more of a #10 naturally. He's also currently being bedded in to the team. The system he chose to deploy in this game had worked previously. It didn't work this time unfortunately. Brighton also function well as a team. It's early, don't lose the plot. Not saying it doesn't need to be better, it does. But let it grow a bit.
@@mattwoods478 Zirkzee is a centre forward, not a 10 like Bruno or mount. Only a manager that’s clueless or trying to prove a point starts bruno fernandes as your main striker over one you just signed for 40 million. Not loosing the plot just saying it how it is. Always trying to be edgy, just play your best players in their best position and stop messing about. Maguire still starting after all these years is a joke. Garnacho benched for Rashford who has fell off dramatically.
I dont understand the mctominey love in the media . Billy gilmour is a betrer player .. scot an honest trier but hes terrible on the ball he left back post for brightons winner . He gives the ball away constantly ,hes not great at tacklkng .
Mctominay is not good enough but your stats are not accurate because before he was playing a dmf for the most part, with ten Haag he has been playing further forward that is why he has been scoring more .
Look, people, this is year THREE. Not year one or year two but THREE. We are no better than we were three years ago. We play games of chaos, not knowing what we are doing or what position we are playing. Our victories are usually 1-0 or 2-1 and us hanging on for dear life for the final whistle. Ten Hag does not know how to manage this squad, period. He buys new players and sits them on the bench and plays the players we want to sell. Why buy De Ligt or Zirkzee if you won't start them? You want bench players? There's plenty of them in the Championship League you can get a lot cheaper. Ten Hag IS NOT the manager for this club. Talksport doesn't watch enough United games to give a real opinion so no use even listening to them talk about the club.
I say get Big Sam in...he'll sort the defence out, plus u hv the added advantage of his footy knowledge being far superior to that of Pep, Klopp and Ancelotti
Maguire play decent football against Fulham and Made last ditch intercept (looks like lucky dip), Ten hag trust him and the make the mistake which allow United conceded the first goal. Then you have Casemiro who could only play 45 minutes, you see the bench you have Eriksen as cover who could only play 30 minutes. Then you force Casemiro to play 90 minutes and he lose concentration in last minutes and leave his post.
People saying mctom does nothing, united would probably be relegated last season without his goals. He saved is a fair few times. What did mount do last year bar sit on the bench with period cramps, and now hes back on the bench with more period cramps!! Why didn't united get rid of that waster. Mctom is better than mount any day of the week
I am a hardcore Ten hag innn fan...I was one of the catalyst of Ten hag innn movement to retain him as manager this season...But If he continues to start Rashford & maguire,he will lose the job.I am 100% sure someone in higher hierarchy is forcing both of them to start. This happened before so its obviously Glazerssss
Ten Hag has a 3 year 9 million a year contract at United. The club have spent more than 500 million on players since he started at United. The football played under Ten Hag in the Premier League last season was poor, there is not yet any improvement. Ten Hag is under pressure, no doubt. If he has blown top 4 by the end of September, which he did last season, then Ineos should replace Ten Hag, I want Ten Hag to succeed but I do not want United to waste another year.
@@Cedisdead Cedisdead - No, last season United won the FA Cup, the League Cup was won 2 seasons ago. However last season United had their worst ever Premier league season and finished bottom of their Champions league group, whilst ending the PL campaign with a negative goal difference scoring only 57 goals. So far this season, albeit 2 games United have shown no improvement, 2 goals, just 4 shots on target. 4 expensive signings, 1 injured, 1 started both games (the least expensive signing) whilst the other 2 signings, 80+ million cost, both only were used as subs inexplicably. Ten Hag is already under pressure. I do want him to succeed but United need a big improvement now.
@@harrydestaffano565 they are both league cups to me, they are worth less then other countries league cups tho because they have two league cups sp its much easier to win a one. I think ten Haag should have been sacked like a year ago, but everything tells me he will stay a long time
@@Cedisdead After spending so much on new players it is unlikely that a ruthless owner like Ineos, who make the decisions, will keep Ten Hag if results/performances this season do not improve from last season. As a United supporter I back the manager but I was calling for him to be fired after the 0V1 home loss to C Palace last season. I do want Ten Hag to succeed. He needs a City Cup final plan to beat Liverpool this weekend.
We have to be realistic we are aiming for that final top four spot along with Newcastle Spurs Villa Chelsea and none of those teams have got 6 points from the opening two games
Mctom is only spoken about because he tries really hard and he scores with some goals, but he is poor in every other aspect. His passing is average, dribbling is ok ay best, cant tackle without fouling and cant smell dangerour. Some fans think he is better than he is because he came from the youth team so they want him to do and be better then he actually is
The bottom line is he doesn't have the cojones needed to change a losing side. Too much noise still out of old Trafford. He's decent but at the same time weak and looks to find an excuse too much. That is a bAd message to send the players
If united wants to go to a higher level you need players of a similar level. Mctominay is not at the required higher level. Does the club thinks he deserves a new contract in a years time? Enuff said!
McTominay had physique and height, United could have used that to raise physical and height profile of their team. But his agent ruined it, these kids employ agents who try and extract money from the club, hence they get moved on because the contract situation at United is bad, everyone exploits United for money... Scott has been one of them. Just look at the money Marcus is on...
They was lucky last week against Fulham with a last minute winner shocking against Brighton we will see next week against Liverpool the only reason he's still there is because no1 else wants to manage them
Mu need a CF not wingers bu😊t Ten is his own worst enemy and should play his new signings. Mount and Anthony are costly mistakes but these are Ten signings. But under Ten 1.4 million pounds has been spent prior to his latest signings. Mu has run out of money to spend on new signings and need to sell to buy. Ten has to be accountable and not keep saying the signings were jointly made. He has a connection to most new signings ie Ajax, Dutch players Who else would sign Anthony for 80 million pounds?
We've okayed two games with Maguire at the back no striker and Bruno out of position! That won't happen now and watch us go! You lot are sleeping on united and you're going regret it! Oh and no LB!
McTominay = decent finisher, good height, hard worker Other than that he has nothing. Cant pass, cant tackle, cant dribble, cant hold up, poor positioning. He scores the odd goal granted, but otherwise he is a liability. But his failures are Man Utd's failures too. They never coached him properly. He played Centre back and Winger for Scotland and CDM and No. 10 for Man Utd. He is not good at any position.
Absolute rubbish, good squad player. Not sure if you're old enough to remember Darren Fletcher, everyone needs a player like that. When he retired every red remembered how good he was at doing a job for Utd.

How many goals have man United had Dissallowed over the last year. We had 2 against Fulham away last season. Away to arsenal last season which would have won us the game. Hojlund scored on his debut against Brighton but then it got Dissallowed & he didn’t score till Xmas. Man United have been getting absolutely rinsed by refereeing decisions & injuries over the past 14 months
Not to mention the numerous soft penalties given against them meanwhile when it comes time to give a penalty to them they bend the interpretation of the rules. Most egregious are the Romero handball and I forget who but the ball was coming to rashford in front of goal and the defender turned to look at the ball and then raised his arm and blocked the ball. No pen given.
@@brian_amado yeah the penalty Coventry were given in the fa cup semi final was laughably bad & was the exact same incident which wasn’t given against Grealish the day before. @@MomentofCorrection keepers have always been getting away with those types of mistakes. I’ve never heard of such an outcry until it was United and their shiny new keeper. Am I saying it’s right? No. But it can’t be rules for thee and not for me.
@brian_amado The overall point is most teams have had clear decisions go against them. The stats about blatant errors of last season were published by the Premier League, and many teams like Wolves, Liverpool, etc, were ahead of Yanited in terms of wrong decisions
There is no crisis, there is definite improvement in the squad, no one is talking about ‘style of play anymore’ cos it’s evident there is one. However the managers gotta grow some and play his best 11 and most in form 11 week to week, take players off earlier in games so we are not always chasing a goal after the 75th min.

Its one loss, and a tight one. But I think its about more than the game. ETH just doesn't seem to be a United Manager. I think Slot is gonna be that guy. Early days but something tells me there's gonna be a statue someday. Hope I'm wrong
