This was the first movie I ever saw in a cinema. I remember this opening theme vividly, I can remember the seat I was sitting in, the awesomeness of being in the theatre, the music pumping, it is a great memory. I am forever thankful I was born at a time for this great synth score to have introduced me to the wonder of cinema.

Flight of the Navigator is just an awesome movie totally timeless u could watch it 4ever!! Joey Cramer was thee ONLY child actor that could pull it off, wonderful actor & a lovely person 2 all his fans!! Long live the Navigator!! 😁 😁 👍👍👌👌

To make the dark knight theme extended,you could use these themes:"i am the batman","like a dog chasing cars","a dark knight" and "a watchful guardian".

Was quite sad when visiting Universal Studios back in early 00's and saw the space ship used in this movie left rotting away lonely in a corner next to the Jaws the revenge (shark) monstrosity 😄 Loved this movie as a kid, and especially this song and robot stomp. Instant nostalgia! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

My understanding is that Alan did the whole theme here with just one instrument: the mighty NED Synclavier, which was a beast of a sampler-synth that cost more than most houses back in the 1980s. It certainly has that Synclavier digital crunch and depth in places here.
