LOOK! hes just twiddling the sticks around randomly! ahah. sarcasm to the max. been to 3D masters in northampton and saw Mr Szabo's routine, a truly eye-watering amount of skill. Long live three dimensions!
God I can't believe its been 16 years since this came out. All the kids are grown and gone now. Two of them are married. One has a baby and one on the way. Time gets by so quickly!
i think he's doing that super fast jerking to create the rapid 'wopopop' sound of the blades throwing the air back and forth. he just knows how to do it in a controlled manner so that it still manages to create smooth movements. talk about really pushing the limits...not only do you get cool visual effects but interesting sound as well.
Incredible that is !!!! But I pretty sur I never do that this man should start very soon and be alredy a master at 2 years old ! Congratulation ! super bravo !!!
Oh... So, that's all there is to it? Now that I know what he's doing with those little sticks, I'm pretty sure I can do it. Well, maybe I should watch him one more time. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
The guys a legend !!!! No way could i ever hope to do half that in a rough looking format. How can he train his fingers to react so fast ? Sheer brilliance
Did anybody notice him hit the aileron trim button at about 1 minute 29 a couple times once while it was spinning. Assuming he flies mode 2. Incredible flight as always.
I doubted myself in thinking I could never fly like Master Szabo, yet I'm getting close :-) My Blade 440 can only fly so hard and my nitro is too heavy. Thanks Alan.
Wow, you are a king! Sick skills! Thank you very much for combining the video with stick movements, what a help! Big up to the guy who kept that chopper in view while doing such crazy shit!
you kidding me? Alan Szabo doesn't crash... don't you know he's only 1 inch tall and is actually inside that helicopter flying it? the dude with the joystick is just his life size stand-in alan szabo is too cool to ever be seen by the human eye
yeah, I know what you mean. Its like once you reach that level, where do you go from there. Thats when things get kinda boring or routine. Although he seems to be living a great life from flying these things. He get to travel the world for free, he gets a crap load of money from doing this, and he gets free equipment and stuff. its kinda cool!
How many crashes does it take to get that good? Lol.. Freaking awesome! Seconds 10 thru 16, whats with the 'epilepsy' moves on the cyclic? Is that a quick way of averaging movements on the fly?
In mode 1, when the throttle stick is on the lowest position the engine switch off, and for sure the pitch is not enough to flight in 3d, is almost difficult to get the loop right in mode 1, so for me is flying with a minimum pitch of +13 and -13, and also watching the stick movements is difficult to get he's level, not for nothing for me is one of the best rc heli pilot in the world.
on 2:15 it's easy to do, just let the heli crash in the ground with the throttle hold switch up and it will behave pretty much like that...lol. This guy can mow anyone's grass...:D
hahaha. That to me is the only way i reckon he would be able to get those fast backwards inverted circuits straight into a chaos. No normal Human Being can do that. It's just impossible, no wonder he's arguably the worlds best.
I know how this is done! You just stir the right stick in a clockwise motion and the left stick in some random fashion and don't fly anywhere near gravity! Simple!!
You need to be so smooth when flying rc helis this on the other hand is so harsh I know he is smooth but so rough with them sticks it amazing. Also his heli is no basic kit ,after flying a bit of 3D with my raptor 50 the blade hanger snapped a ball off and hey presto it hit the deck!!
I wonder what kind of level intellect these people have to fly like this. The month they were born probably matters. Neuroscientist should be studying these people. Not everyone can do this. Their brain fires differently. Maybe a similarity could be found and a way to simulate the areas can result in high intellectual motor skill performance.
angel alonso I want to agree with you but certain things.. some people's brains are just wired to just do things far easier than others. It's like when people just do not have that brain to gymnist no problem or do tricks with a motorcross bike. The results can be irreversable. Some people are just natural and that is the word.
because there is no actual way to control the heli precisely at that cyclic speed. he is jittering the stick as fast as he can and the heli is reacting as fast as it can, if he slowed down the stick movements it would exagerate the movement in the head and SMASH. think of it as a cheat or shortcut way to do the move. But then again, this is what makes him who he is. He can pull this kind of shit off, where as you and i never could.
