Harry Vanderspeigle is my favourite Alan Tudyk's role. He's perfectly cast and so convincing in both comedic and dramatic moments. I heartily recommend Resident Alien to anyone who has missed it so far.🌟

He is hilarious 😂 in that show. It's something that can be easily overlooked but his acting in that show is top tier. Him as the actual alien falls flat a bit but only because his physical comedy is just as good as his voice acting and the 2 together is just plain enjoyable to watch.

@jkosh2046 when we started watching resident alien, my wife remarked how bad his acting was. She didn't understand how good the acting had to be to make it look that bad.

Tudyk is basically Walt Disney Animation Studios' acquivalent of Pixar's John Ratzenberger. He is and will always be 👑🍬 King Candy to me.... Also, his take on Optimus Prime was pretty damn refreshing as a successor to Peter Cullen

I agree. And I'm not losing my marbles. And I love the performance of the Duke of Weaseltown. [Wesselton!] And the toucan in "Encanto" would have helped me understand how different toucans and puffins are after I mistook Top Wing Brody for a toucan. What a caw-caw-catastrophe! Alan Tudyk's voice acting is incredible! I love how the voices he uses for animated characters are so realistic that you can't even tell that it's him doing the voice, That's a real voice acting range right there!!!

I really like and appreciate the variety of Alan Tudyk’s voice works. He reminds me of another VA, Dee Bradley Baker, who voices a lot of characters as well, whether they speak with words or with their own animalistic tongues.

Alan Tudyk is one of my favourite under-the-radar actors. Dodgeball, A Knight's Tale, I, Robot? I love those movies a lot, but for me, his voice acting roles are topped with King Candy. As a guy who loves to do voice-acting, i take my inspiration from the same places as Tudyk. Keep on going, man! Hollywood's not done with you yet!

Resident Alien, Love It!!!Alan Tudyk's voice acting is on par with the UK's Jim Dale, who narrated the U.S. audiobooks for all seven novels in the Harry Potter series, for which he won two Grammy Awards. If you haven't listened to them I Highly recommend them. My kids & I loved them all !!!

I kept smiling throughout the whole video, I'm so glad Alan Tudyk is getting all the praise and love he deserves. King Candy is definitely my absolutely favorite, now favorite Disney character, and I CAN NOT imagine any other voice actor that would have made him as memorable and great of a villain as Alan. His vocal range is absolutely amazing, I can't wait to meet him one day.

I have loved this man's work for so long and every time I bring up his name my friends have no idea who I'm talking about, BUT then I start listing everything I know they have seen and the look of shock on their faces is incredible. I will always love the first 2 movies I saw him in; A Knight's Tale and I, Robot. They're movies I enjoy so much; sadly, not enough people I know have seen them. I agree with the fans that wanted a moment with a gathering of Tudyk's characters for Once Upon a Studio. That would have been so cool! But I'm happy that his voice made it into the short as the Mad Hatter. He deserves it!

I knew he was talented from watching him in "Firefly/Serendipity", "Dodgeball", and "Alien Resident", but I had NO idea he did all those other voices! No surprise Mel Blanc and Robin Williams were his inspiration. And now that I know he played Weselton & Weasalton, the job makes sense and is brilliant!
