Excerpt from a full concert video recorded by Merrill Aldighieri at HURRAH in 1980. A new film just completed (Jan. 2013) includes new commentary and 2 more songs from this performance. That film is titled "Seven Deadly Synths". It is a very interesting context because several other bands explain how they were influenced by Alan Vega, and he talks about how he was influenced by Iggy Pop. "Chery chery" !!! Soooo many thanx, I've been looking for this song for so long!! I've memories from the 85/86, wandering round Rome with my "sony walkman" plugged in my ears, and listening to Suicide, Alien Sex Fiends, Coil, Marc Almond, and some others...

The first doc is ready, just finished in January of this year. There's a link for it in the description above and I am making it available on a handmade DVD. It is entered in some festivals in France. I have not oraganised any screening in the NYC area yet.

@JOHNxxEIRE 74???!!!! Woah! No matter how tired I was or how little money I had, I dragged myself out to see SUICIDE wherever and whenever they were in NY. Never was disappointed. And again, it was always DIFFERENT!

This band was never the same. One night they sounded salsa! At CBGB they were cold menace and at this gig we get to see how spontaneous it all was. My pals in NY had been following this band for years already! They were nice, too. The quiet one was quiet, Alan, but nice anyway! Marty was always a pro. Where are they now?

@CuteCatFaith ---I reunited with Alan Vega last year and started a feature project to show a bit of him then and now. Quite a beautiful artist, you can have a taste of it if you put the title " Alan Vega Retrospective" in the Youtybe seach box.

Sorry I did not answer sooner. The documentary is on my streaming page - artclips.free.fr/PRIVATE-STREAMINGS.html There was a NY premiere a few years ago. It was fun. Alan's wife and son were there.
