A potentially interesting talk absolutely ruined by that background music. If you arranged an Alan Watts lecture on stage, would you turn up a Musical soundtrack as soon as he began talking? I cannot understand this... Why his Words Are not Enough and music must always accompany them. Thanks anyway and hoping you think on this for your next videos. Best wishes
@@AlanWattsChillstep thank you for your response. I have listened to hundreds off Alan Watts lectures uploaded by so many on youtube. I find the ones I enjoy most and gravitate towards, are the ones that clearly state in the title, "No music"! There is a reason for this. Words most clearly heard , are the ones with no sound.... sound or music take away your concentration and intrude harshly with the essence of the talk... i hope you understand .... thank you for your efforts and best wishes.
@@jayc3110Ah yes, you listen to all his talks yet seemed to have missed the "And then he throws you. Why are you concentrating?" line somewhere. Lyrics, or in this case his lectures and words, are still, mostly metaphorically, musical. You also contradict yourself in writing in your first comment by stating words aren't enough. And they aren't, why should they be? Music adds to and amplifies the experience to be far more enjoyable and possibly profound more so than effectively listening to someone drone onnnn aaannnddd onnnn like a portable pundit.
