I've listened to this countless times. I love G. K. Chesterton perhaps more than any writer and I'd always really loved Alan Watts. So, to find a lecture on G.K.C. by A.W. was like finding an unbelievable treasure. And, on top of that, the illustration of G.K.C. above is so whimsical and wonderful-just like the man himself. Thank you!

Did you know that also Slavoj Žižek mentions GKC as one of his mentors? He always says "my beloved Chesterton". I know of one extremely exciting interview with žižek and a christian theologian. Fun to watch. Let me know if you would be interested and I'll give you a youtube link. :)

@@tenno1981 I wish Z would hire a master wordsmith to help his lectures be more bearable for people with sensitive ears, with all respect for the difficulties people with impediments have. Z would write a draft, give it to the Smith, who would then get out his Oxford thesaurus to rewrite it using only words that have no “s” in them. Imagine him being able to do an entire lecture sounding normal! He’s probably too proud to do it, however. I wonder what Z’s opinion on Distributist theory is. I know Chesterton thought very poorly about Hegel; how does he deal with that? They would probably have been frenemies if they’d known each other.
