For pre-Jagged Little Pill Alanis, this is her best. Clever lyrics & a nice 90s pop beat that was not unlike what was on the radio at the time. Could've & should've been a huge hit in Canada and crossed over worldwide.
I agree with you both. As a lover of her most important work, I find this is the song from the first two albums I turn to most. It’s such a pleasure to listen to. It holds a mirror to the depth we would later see.
Of the first two albums, this is probably her BEST by far.....it is not over produced like Too Hot, An Emotion Away and Feel Your Love and like so many of the others are
