Alanis Morissette - Perfect (Live from London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, 2020) 

Jagged Little Pill is one of my favourite albums of all time and helped me learn to speak English in the 90’s. I finally put my CD’s in the attic and created a playlist instead. During the week, this song ‘Perfect’ started playing after dropping my children to school. It was the first time I had listened to it from a parent’s perspective rather than a teenager. What an eye opener how sometimes (we as parents) so easily find ourselves repeating the programmed sentences to our child, we despised hearing when we were young. Thank you @Alanis for helping me share a parenting tip this week: inspired by your music.
