Thank you for the video. I had to put down my American bulldog on 1/1/18 and it’s been rough. I have been watching RU-vid videos as a comfort. Great dogs. Your. Video made me smile. Take care...
I'm truly sorry for the loss of your dog Bryan. I've been there too and I know what it feels like. I'm glad my crazy little puppies were able to lighten your spirits a little bit. You take care as well.
Beautiful, adorable n feisty pups. So interesting watching them interact with each other n their parents. Kudos for ur video. Just discovered it. New subscriber because of this vid. Looking forward to future ones. Aloha from Hawaii.
ALL of the puppies are just ADORABLE!!! Every one of them. And I HAVE to say, if their EXQUISITE Mama & handsome Dad are any indication of what they'll look like fully-grown... 💕OH MY HEART!!!💕 I AM SO HEAD-OVER HEELS IN LOVE!!!💕 I wish 'I' could have been the Forever Mom who gave ALL of these sweet, precious angels their forever home.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
they are all so adorable..i love my johnson american bulldog...extremely loyal and ever so loving and protective...i'd have a house full if i had room..my guy is 2 and weighs 156lbs...and they are so smart, but love to be stubborn..lol
you better make sure he's doing what you say. never let a johnson male disobey you. if they think they can take over they will. u won't be able to stop him unless he submits to your will.
Iianns female puppy wad the cutest to me. She gorgeous. Her fur is beautiful and the blue eyes are amazing. I wish i had lianns puppy. Theyre all so beautiful
the grey and white is beautiful. also the one with the white head and black white body .my family always tells me no more dogs .i love dogs I only have 3 right now .I treat my dogs better than my family so i think there jealous. i even bought additional land just for my dogs to run.
The Moma dog looks like she needs a break! And the black is adult dog has serious skin issues!!! The puppies are gorgeous and all look healthy...isn't it past time to ween them from nursing Mom?
Hello, messaging you from here in NE Arkansas. These are some of the prettiest American bulldogs ive seen...Love the cross breeding with Alapaha due to me loving the Merle markings and eye colors....Have really been considering one or the other of the breeds, but I like what you have done with your dogs....Don't have any pets now and haven't in a long time....but in my 30's I had Bullmatiffs and Akitas.....I'll be reaching 50 next year and live alone, sons are grown and out of the house. Be nice to have a great companion to live with me the next several years ahead...how might I reach out to you?
Curt Townsley Thank you so much for the lovely compliment ☺ I love the Merle markings and the blue eyes as well. I can be reached by email at: lorad@pris.ca
Love them all - Mum & Dad too... You are clearly a loving & caring dog lover and it is so nice to see this in your videos! Now it's 2018 did the smallest boy end up roughly the same size as his brothers, even bigger (this has been known with smallest ending up biggest) or his sisters size? x
I really new to Smart phones and computers so I apologize for not knowing how long a question should be. I would like to have 2 dogs, would you recommend getting 1 at a time or both at the same time and if I'm not sure on matting does it matter either or they are brother and sister?
I personally prefer to get them both at the same time so they can grow up together, however for some people 2 puppies at once might be too much work and worry. And some breeders do mate closely related dogs together (it's called linebreeding), but I'm not a big fan of that myself.
@@lorad0313 Beautiful dogs! Love the color variations too! Where are you located? Facebook? Email? I know video is 2 years old but, Do you still have pups?
I'm going to be getting a American Bulldog Lab mix Puppy that I guess is around 4-6 weeks of age (It's going to be dropped off this Saturday morning)..I was wondering if You have any info as if they need any specific care when they are that old?
Wow, that is pretty young to be taken away from the mother in my opinion. I would never remove a puppy from it's mother until it was at least 8 weeks old, and if they stay a few weeks longer than that, all the better. The puppy's physical, psychological and social development depend heavily on the mother at that age. Is it weaned? Able to eat kibble and drink water from a bowl on it's own? If so, you will have to become that puppy's mother for all those other things that the real mom would normally provide. It definitely can be done, but it's not something I prefer personally.
It is eating puppy food & has caught on to the idea of going outside to take care of business,My Mom says she thinks He may be 2-3 months old,I would estimate He is only 1' at the shoulders if that.
I'm just glad the Bulldog heritage doesn't show up..My Mom is under the impression that Staffordshire (one of the variants of the American Bulldog) is the same as a Pitbull (She refuses to trust them).
Do you still breed these dogs. I’ve been looking for a good Alpaha Bulldog kennel for about 17 months now. I just haven’t found anything I like. Ur dogs stand out to me
Thanks so much for that. I really appreciate your comment! Unfortunately I don't breed anymore. Mom and dad are just enjoying being pets on the ranch :)
Hey was passing through the comments thought I’d let u know that I’ve just had a litter of alapaha xamerican bulldog pups! Let me know if your still looking
No, unfortunately I've never had the resources to train them on hogs. However, both my male and female are absolutely fearless with an extremely strong catch drive, and I'm sure they would be very good at it. They aren't afraid of any other animal, no matter how much bigger it is than they are.
@@lorad0313 I would love to get in touch with them if possible. I am looking to purchase one before next Summer and would love to look at any he might have produced!
@@nerineri228 No, unfortunately he's not a big Facebook fan lol. I do however have many pictures of his puppies that I could send you privately if you wanted. Let me know and I can get them to you somehow.
I might have another litter this spring. Mom and dad probably weigh close to 100 lbs each I would imagine, but I haven't weighed them in a long time so I couldn't say for sure.
Thanks! Alapahas and Americans can physically look very similar to each other, but the Alapaha carries the merle gene and the American does not. The merle gene comes from the Catahoula Leopard Dog which helped develop the Alapaha breed. The merle gene gives the Alapaha it's beautifully coloured coat and it's blue and multi coloured eyes.
I live in belmont,ma can I have a female. I have another dog who got her puppies taken away from here at 1 years old who is looking for a puppy to look after
These puppies are only half American Bulldog. I believe the mom is a Scott but honestly, I'm not completely sure about that! I don't export to Europe sorry!
Yes, I think he does know. He is very stand offish with strange dogs and absolutely will not allow any other dog anywhere near my farm. But he is very gentle with the puppies as you can see in the video and seems to really enjoy playing with them and being around them.
