I love the fact that a prophecy in a form of a lullaby is the actual central point of a whole series it's not an artifact, nor a character of any sort. It's just a song, shrouding an entity that is far beyond the human grasps. I just simply love this series, and most particularly this song. It makes the entire thing feel unsettling, and I absolutely root for that, especially when I watch Godzilla related content
Imagine the song was created by Ghidorah and this song was it's way of weakening Godzilla and making the world perfectly suited for it.. If we ever get a season 2 I hope they do something like this
Even though I have to agree with some of the criticism surrounding the series, I've watched it 3 times so far and just love it. Hoping for a second season!
If you understand the song it gives information about the coming catastrophe and how to fight it. To think it was a code sent by jet jaguar for jet jaguar makes it even more intriguing. Just mind blowing concept to write. I can still feel it under my skin when i see jj's last battle.
This series is MUCH better than the anime trilogy, I'll give it that. Despite the technobabble, some characters are fun, the kaiju are REALLY terrifying (old or new), the music helps elevate scenes and who could forget the two stars themselves Jet Jaguar and Godzilla. Jet suprises me more after being dormant for long time and actually makes root for him from start to finish. Godzilla of course is outstanding, the buildup, evolution and scenes were excellent. Edit: Hopefully season 2 improves, there are actually some things left uncovered and Mechagodzilla, NICE!
I’m certain season 2 is gonna explain more on the phases of archetype and as for the kaiju, I’m hoping Rodan, Anguirus, Manda, and Kumonga would return with more screen time. And for new ones (other than Mechagodzilla), I would pick Kamacuras, Moguera, Meganula, Megagurius, Biollante, and Mothra (with her being the singular point inside of the super dimensional calculator)
@@mikephelps9238 Either in the calculator, or what was being pulled up from the pit. I doubt it was Salunga. Shiva seemed way too interested in it. And not in a good way either.
Well I think in season one mothra showed up it was in like the last two episodes the tiny butterflies/moths had yellow or golden dust and at the end credits if you stay ther long enough you will see a picture of Biollante
This song fits very well with the "end of the world"-type of songs around the world.Besides that, its quite calming if you hear it multiple times, but hearing it for the first time does give slight goosebumps.
It starts as a simple mysterious but innocent song a lullaby, then slowly turns into literally a song of the end of the 5th world. You could say it evolves from a carefree life then slowly evolves into that of possible existential horror in the form of a world ending situation and the actions of those willing to frigjt and not go silent against the dying of the ligjt
Absolutely powerful stuff. While I personally enjoyed the anime, I always understood other people's gripes with it, but this is up there with the top Godzilla OST. I could never understand someone disliking this piece.
I don't know how I could make sense of the abstract concepts they discussed. I was able to link it together in my head in such a way that it somehow made sense to me as they were talking about it.
It's hard to understand but if you put all pieces together you can make it make sense Like the fact that singular points are things that affect multiple realities at different periods of time And the fact that the archetypes can connect the future with the past And Jet Jaguar PP being the "son" of Jet Jaguar and Pelops 2 (or Pero 2) Etcetera
@@InueShizaki I'm kind of proud that I was able to put the pieces together as they were revealed, and made it all make sense to me in my head as it was happening. Such an interesting show. I don't think it deserves some of the hate it gets.
@@Ben_Kimber it doesn't deserve hate at all It's an amazing history Lovable characters (I loved Mei and Jet Jaguar and of course Pelops 2, the cuteness itself) And the soundtrack, dear lord, remixing the classic Godzilla theme, along with new songs It's an amazing anime and I can't wait to watch the second season
Here's the Lyrics of ALAPU UPALA from #GodzillaSingularPoint / #ゴジラSP from the the Booklet in both Japanese, Katakana, Sanskrit, Devanāgarī & English! I should point out in the Booklet & Fan Book, it's confirmed that not only is ALAPU UPALA a reminiscent rendition of Mothra's theme but the Composer, Kan Sawada (#KanSawada / #沢田完), & the Lyricist, Gorō Matsui (#GoroMatsui / #松井五郎), used the 5 Elements of the Japanese Godai to Symbolize the Kaijus in Singular Point! Anguirus was the Element for Earth, Godzilla was the Element for Fire, Rodan was the Element for Sky, Manda was the Element for Water & Jet Jaguar was the Element for Wind. Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to download this beautiful music and all the translations. Even though I can't understand the lyrics in the language its sung in, it doesn't matter. to me the mood of the song is what's important. Thanks again.

the different vairiations changes the songs meaning and translation slightly. at some places it says mrityu dootham (messanger of Death) and then in another variation it says nityam durga which kinda translates to contant invicible. Goddess Durga, the mother or creation, was named durga after killing durgamasur. by killing the invincible demon se became the one to surpasss invicibility and became the "inaccessible fortress"

This music, and especially the second half of this video, is some of the most beautiful, powerful, chilling, and awe-inspiring music ever written for anything Godzilla related. In fact, I think the entire soundtrack is the most varied and diverse of all G-scores, and one of the very best. In fact, these final tracks of epic and somber choral work might be the best in the whole series, on par with the likes of LOTR. In fact, it if you time it right, “Unknown Future” almost syncs up one-for-one with the destruction of Sauron in Return of the King, and it matches the epic scope of that movie perfectly. It baffles me that the fandom hasn’t fallen head-over-heels for this music and rave about it to high heaven or make a thousand cover of it like they did for Persecution of the Masses back in 2016. No one with an ear for music can dislike these pieces.
I loved the whole time bending aspect of the show, like they said, the answer to the question at the end was govin at the beginning. And the extra dimensionL stuff can be understood if you look up carl sagan's explanation of 5d plains and flatland.
1st this feels like having the same tune as some old Bollywood song. Can’t put my fingers to it. And then it’s so full of Sanskrit words? Just what An amazing composition! Thank you so much…
Funny thing about Jet Jaguar's origins. 1975, Solomon was a kaiju who was going to fight with Goji, but TOHO didn't think he was marketable for being too scary for kids' toys, so Jet is literally just a censor bar. Well, up until now. Now, it hurts hearing this song knowing how things went down and evolved, but it was fitting. Goji followed the theme he always had: human consequences of radiation, a death upon himself, just like 1954 and Shin Gojira. And Jet got redemption, now we wait for Solomon.
Solomon was created for the NES Godzilla creepypasta, and even in that wasn't implied at all to be a scrapped real-world kaiju. Jet Jaguar debuted in 1973 after a kid's robot design won a competition toho had for how he should look.
Prithvi (earth ) Akash(space ) kiran(light ) agni(fire) jal (water) - Sanskrit "Pancha Tatva" refers to the five elements in Hindu philosophy: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. These elements are believed to constitute the physical universe.
at first i haed theis anime ... because Godzila is only bones and i resent Rodans ... but then i came to like it , what would normal people do ... and the music ...omg ... can watch it again just for music
Although this song has a somewhat questionable translation, that doesn't take away from the fact that this song is very calming and well, at least for me, it causes a combination of feelings that only for me
Does anyone know a version of this song I can find? In the show, during the pellops II thing / Jet Jaguars multi voice speech, it plays a slow violin version of this song and I can't find it anywhere. This version also played in the singularity donut room. No lyrics, no other instruments, just a slow violin, before switching to a version with lyrics.
Its sanskrit with a few others like Hindu. Makes sense given that Kali the god of death is that. Godzilla is a creature of destruction, even if he isnt himself evil. Literally it's about the end of the world and those willing to push as hard as they can to stay in the dying light
