Very useful. I had the same on my 2014 cora D 1.3CDTI 55kw. Replaced the glowplug after measuring them out. Only 1 was broken. The outer right one. Light went out after replacing it.
The same problem occurred in my 2013 Corsam. My fan was working constantly. At the service, they connected it to the computer. It showed a thermostat failure. The thermostat was changed. The fan returned to normal. The light went out.
i got the same light on me dash, it drives well, But first we did a read out with opcom and there it said glowplug 1, 3, 4 was not working. and thats correct the car needs more time to start because it haves only 1 glowplug lol. so, i gonna change them this week normally and edit these post to keep an update of the changes :) its a opel corsa 1.3 CDTI 95HP 2010. [120.000km's]
I remember that I didn’t have to remove the turbo. However I had to use socket extension bars that can offset/bend away from the turbo (I don’t know their name but came with my draper expert socket set). I had to remove the pipes and heat shield from the turbo. I remember I was so glad not to have to remove the turbo. My sons engine is identical to the one in this video, it’s a 2011 limited edition eco flex... I choose to do this job myself because the garage warned me of the possibility of snapping the glow plug and requiring them to be drilled out at huge cost. I decided to soak the plugs in wd40 prior to removing and using my own judgment as to how much pressure needed to loosen them.
@@raysentana991 Hello, like i say in the video, i went to the bosch repair center, the replaced the one glow plug that was broken, the second from the left, without taking out the turbo.
@@lettucefarm Mate how did you do it? The gap is tiny. The DPF and turbo leave almost no space. weren’t they too long to bend out of the gap when taking them out? Looks impossible without removing it all
I had the same problem, but its not a big deal. It showed up because 2 out of 4 engine heaters were dead. So I bought a new ones and it never showed up again
If you do not have A maintenance history. I would replace the 4 glow plugs. . Or you can buy A diagnostic obd reader. And read out the board computer for errors. Maybe then you can see what Seems to be the problem.
does this also apply to opel antara? it's an automatic, when I'm driving, three lights first appear, two for skidding and the third for auxiliary braking on a downhill slope, and then the video light also appears (car with key) and the transmission goes into 4th gear and doesn't change gears.
@jan sv hi I have a vaxhuall corsa sxi 61plate my glow plug light flashes and doesn't turn off also my fuel is really bad full tank shows 450miles but only gives me 150miles do u think this is because of glow plugs
Hello, it is possible that the fuel consumption increases, but this is extreme. I think the best you can do is replace the broken glow plug (if you know witch one it is) or replace them al 4 is you don' t know wich one it is. And then see how much the fuel consumption is. Around 100.000 km they start to fail (on our corsa)
Thanks for the reply yh will get all 4 changed tomorrow just went to a few mechanics some didn't give me an answer one mechanic said the dpf is clogged and will need replacing however I have no loss of power or engine light
@@mushy7869 I hope the problem is solved when you replace the 4 glow plugs. The dpf replace is very expensive. And indeed, normaly you will get a warning light when its clogged. Success
I got same thing showing up 2007 reg But it only shows at around 3000rpm and I’ve noticed on 5th gear if I go over about 65m/h soon as this symbols lights up it last like second and car looses power I found it on net they call it limp mode. Different ppl telling me different stuff. I think it’s or Air flow sensor or filters dirty air fuel oil I’m going to try swap those and I will come back and leave comment if it helped. If anyone have any ideas how to fix it please let me know
Bro help. when i turn on the car after two minutes this light comes on and as soon as I turn off the car and open it again the light does not come on is it a glow plug?
Hello, normally when it is the glow plug, it lights up when you start the car and stays on untill you stop the car. So i don' t think it' s the glow plug. Read out the computer to be sure. You can buy a obd scanner to do it yourself. Greetings
@@JanSV You don't need to erase the error code. if the problem was a burnt glow plug and you changed that Next day the light for error code remains off
I had engine management light on mine and garage said glow plugs so I changed all 4 and the management light went but when I'm driving and put my foot down the car with wrench icon pops up then quickly put me into limp mode then disappears
Hi, I've got problem with my 1.3 corsa 07 plate. The car service light is on. And the car doesn't go higher than 2000rpm. If I drive. after a bit the gas pedal won't work at all. Can you tell what's the problem?
That will be your egr valve stuck opening had same problem. I took the black controler of top of egr Vale to find the valve was stuck open sprayed it with wd4o loads and now it's fine ...

Hello. Our car was still running normal. The only thing was the alarm on the dashboard. The best thing you can do is read out the board computer. Maybe its the erg valve?
Translated to english : for all : For me, this light has been on for 150,000 km, it shows a fuel temperature sensor error, but I haven't touched anything and the car works normally.
Cordialement
Did your vehicles go into limp mode while driving with the light on your dash? I have the same problem the vehicle flashes the light and goes into limp mode
