Love the longer form content! Can’t wait to see where you go on this trip. My wife (who is currently very pregnant) and I love to watch your videos while we eat dinner haha
One of my favorite videos you have put out. So real and just showcasing your family in the travel element. Love love love this content. Very excited for you all to explore Alaska and we can't wait to see more of the trip!
This video was awesome! The views were amazing! I dream to be able to make a trip like this one some day. Thanks for sharing it! Absolutely loved the longer video, keep em coming! Have fun and stay safe!!
So sick that you three are finally making this trip a reality! I can't wait for what's to come. I really enjoyed when you were cooking dinner and it was just you and Ashlee bantering. I can't wait to see how many more fun and exciting hikes you go on!
I don’t want to crap on my own country and province of Alberta……. But we can be quite a bunch of ****holes in Alberta. Same with BC. Not trying to make excuses but our economic downturn due to political BS has caused a ton of contention here and in turn flows over to our attitudes towards others. It has nothing to do with you being from Colorado and everything to do with the inconvenience of dealing with others period. I’m glad there were some nice people you met, and had that been my group….. we would have recognized the the rig and said hi 👋. Being from here I can say that we definitely take what we have for granted which is so sad. I have been to all the lower states as well…. While very beautiful in their own right I very much look forward to coming home to my mountains. Have a safe trip!
It is so cool to watch your progression from the days in PA and STi, then Crosstrek, SatVan, Colorado, Supra, SatComa, Tundra and now Storyteller. With all the Motos and pews and Stuff & Things sprinkled in. When you got your Winnebago right before Vanlife popped off I was so envious you were able to get a Sprinter before the Vanlife/Overlanding price gouging Congrats on your success after all your hard work. Looking forward to the video series.
My wife and I did a road trip to Banff & Jasper National Park for our Honeymoon 32 years ago! We drove, hiked, backpacked, and did hotels too; but we didn't have a camper which would have been so much fun. We took the train from Denver to Seattle and rented a vehicle from there as we made our way through Lac Le Juene before Banff, and Lake Louise and Waterton and Glacier National Parks afterwards. We finished up in Jackson Hole before getting back to Denver.
Been looking forward to this series after seeing all the teasers on IG. Wishing you all a safe and adventurous trip. More mic'd up Ash, she's hilarious.
The area you were in the first little bit looks like the Ghost/Waiparous area. It's 40Km from my house so I spent lots of time up there with ATVs or Search and Rescue.
Lavabox! I thought you gave it up for the howl! their new griddle is like a skottle, but then you have a s'mores firebox for dessert! LOL! awesome adventure! keep it up!
If it is just you I’d say 4Runner that was my plan to build out my 2022 TRD OR-P and travel the North American continent, now I have a 2023 Access Cab Tacoma TRD Off Road that I am going to put a habitat on the bed.
Cooper landing just outside of soldotna ak is absolutely beautiful, there is a trail there called Bear Mountain and at the end of the trail its unbelievable the view, I have been to kenai, soldotna, homer, anchorage, seward, juneau, and the ski resort Alyeska, alaska is beautiful and on another level, also check out denali
We were in Jasper NP last fall in our REVEL (same campground). That part of Canada is beautiful. I'm looking forward to the videos from your trip to Alaska. Do you know if the small covered propane tank is still available from Lavabox?? I went to their website and could not find it.
Did you guys end up down in the river bed/ valley at Ghost (Waiperous) area?! Was there over this weekend and there's water now in a couple legal crossing spots, super beautiful down there.
I’m pleasantly surprised Banff National Park allows leashed dogs on the trails. I don’t go to any national parks in the US because they don’t allow dogs.
Nice video Talon! What size propane bottle are using for the lava box? 5 or 10lb? How many days are you getting out of it prior to refilling? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks brother!
It’s an 11lb and mileage will vary haha. You could run the Lavabox at a good level for a few hours with one of these tanks. I haven’t needed to fill it this whole trip because we have just been using it to cook and occasionally make s’mores
@@TalonSei Cool man! Much appreciated! Couldn’t decide between the 5 or 11. BTW.. Your girl always makes me laugh! “Hey Brandon, what you got on? Don’t worry about it sweetheart” Love it!!
