I was actually supposed to do this route, but Alaska Airlines stopped it. I had a trip to Fairbanks and Prudhoe Bay, and I was supposed to fly back to to Anchorage with a connecting flight in Fairbanks, and my Prudhoe Bay-Fairbanks flight was supposed to stop in Barrow. Alaska Airlines now only goes to Barrow and Prudhoe Bay directly to and from Anchorage, nowhere else, so I had to fly from Fairbanks to Anchorage, and then to Prudhoe Bay.
You guys probably already know this but Alaska Airlines is not based in Alaska. It is based at SeaTac, Washington in the Seattle metropolitan area. Just some food for thought. Beautiful video!!
Andrew Baca I would call Barrow a typical small town with a atypical geography. A general store, a couple gas stations, a couple of restaurants. I think gas was going for $7.50 a gallon when I was there.
