Alaska Native Games Demonstration 

The Alaska District hosted representatives from the Alaska Native Heritage Center on Nov. 30, 2023, who demonstrated traditional Alaska Native games during an event at the district headquarters in recognition of Native American and Alaska Native Heritage Month. Alex Covey, Alaska Native athlete, performed challenging games such as the two foot high kick, scissor broad jump and stick pull. Members of the district's workforce also had the opportunity to participate in the event.
