Alaska Road Trip - Day 8: Icefields Parkway, Peyto Lake, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper National Park 

On day 8 of our Alaska Road trip, we leave the hard sided campground at Lake Louise in Banff National Park and head north up the Icefields Parkway, the most beautiful drive of the trip so far! Along the way we stop at Peyto Lake and hike to the viewpoint for an amazing look at this beautiful lake. Then we stop at the Columbia Icefields Center and hike the Forefield Trail to get a closer look at the Athabasca Glacier.
Our day ends at the Whistlers campground in Jasper National Park. The campground is very nice and seems to have had some recent improvements.
