When the ala dlc quest for gen, when I saw the title "where gods fear to tread" and saw the scarlet mystery man as the client I shed a tear

I fear not this Alatreon, I fear not a Dire Miralis. I don't fear them. I fear the man/woman who is able to kill such beasts on their own. And if they were to enjoy the fight, I'd be even more terrified.

You know how badass the monster is when the quest description says that “even the gods fear to confront”

After I saw the recent dev update : My hunter: The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner; now I’m the master.

I remember when I met this thing the first time... After facing Caedus and Jhen Mohran, I was used to elder dragons making me feel small. They, however, were giants, this average sized beast comes down, and it's music starts playing, health starts dropping, and I knew, finally, after breezing through most of the game, I found my monster. Then I was carted.

The greatest thing about this theme is how you only heard the guitar if you didn't cart within the first 30 seconds of the fight, at which point you knew it was going to get serious.

I think Alatreon is truly Nature Incarnate. Other monsters may be wrath, or hunger, or fire, or might. But Alatreon is nature. Unstable, uneasy, unyielding, and unforgiving. It is both light and darkness, both the abyss and the zenith, the land and sky. But it's merely an imperfect medium for the forces of nature. My one wish for future Monster Hunter games is to give this thing a rare species, a subspecies, a Deviant, a SOMETHING, that illustrates what it's like when this monster, The Blazing Black Dragon, The Brilliant Darkness, The Living Natural Disaster, is able to fully control the power over nature it wields, and show Hunters what Nature is truly about: Chaos.

1:33 sounds so epic

It weird, Monster Hunter always tries to do some BS "Scientific" explanation for the monsters through the "researchers" at The Guild, but Jesus H. Christ, the elder dragons just straight up use magic. NO CAPCOM, THIS THING DOESN'T USE SPECIAL CHEMICALS IN THE AIR TO CREATE PURE CHAOS, ITS MAGIC AND YOU KNOW IT.

I can't choose which version I like more. The original is more chaotic and intense with more varied instruments (we got a pipe organ and electric guitar), and inconsistent in some places, representing the chaotic nature of the Third Generation's Alatreon, all-powerful but unstable. The new one is more regal and orchestral with more consistency, representing Alatreon's shift in the New World from a chaotic demon to a king of evil, with better control over the elements that it commands. Tl;dr they're both amazing imo

its been 3 years since he was first dropped in Iceborne and for some reason I still think this version of his theme is better they kinda dropped the ball on the Iceborne rendition.

When I was 14 ... omg I had a lot of respect of that Dragon... Love him so much... years and tears later... Alatreon... you will return... so will I ... finnaly I can die in peace... ❤️

I don’t have the means to play any other Monster Hunter game other than World at the moment but seeing and hearing about all these monsters sure make me want to get them./.

I can't help, but think that Alatreon is just a baby elder dragon. I mean he seems smaller than the others and it says that he can't control the elements that he wields, which to me screams child in some way. Could you imagine if that's what Capcom was going for. Building up to a fully grown Alatreon.

I’d like this monster more if his head wasn’t up soo damn high all the time, but saying that, hunting him in MH3U in ceadus armour with a uragaan hammer was always a fun time

I know many people will kill me for saying this but I prefer Alatreon than Gogmazios. This second one is just boring and it's easily soloable...

After some time passes, the stranded hunters repair the Large Exploration Ship and make it operational, taking to the skies once again as they leave the volcanic region. Not too far away from where they fought Shantien, they stumble upon an evil-looking barren wasteland. It looks like they walked straight into the underworld, and there doesn't seem to be any kind of life here. No plants grow here... No animals live here... But why? The hunters will soon learn why, and the one monster that lives here is often considered to be the "strongest." In ancient times, Shantien fought against a powerful Elder Dragon for supremacy over its domain, but it was ultimately defeated by the monster at the end of the great battle. Shantien's rival is an Elder Dragon known as Disufiroa, the Frozen Seraphim Dragon. Long thought to be extinct by the Guild until it was rediscovered by hunters on the Large Exploration Ship, Disufiroa is considered to be the strongest monster encountered in G-rank for Mezeporta. In terms of strength, Disufiroa ranks far above most other Elder Dragons. Disufiroa lives at the World's End, and it is the only known creature to live there. No plants or animals can be found there, and that's all because of Disufiroa's presence. Just like Alatreon, Disufiroa's abilities make it impossible for a stable ecosystem to sustain itself. Disufiroa is nicknamed the Frozen Seraphim Dragon because of its ability to control fire and ice. Its horn controls cold air, creating ice, while organs in its body produce fire. The two elements constantly conflict with each other as Disufiroa uses them together. Its control over these elements causes some of its scales to be white and cold or red and hot. By using these elements together, Disufiroa can cause extreme temperature changes to an ecosystem, making it difficult for other species to live within the same environment as it does. Although it can control fire and ice simultaneously, it comes at a cost. Disufiroa is one of the strongest monsters known, but its power is its greatest weakness. Disufiroa's life is always in danger when it uses the two elements, meaning it could kill itself if it loses control. To stay alive, Disufiroa has to keep a balance between its elemental powers to maintain control of them. If it loses control of just one of them, it'll end up freezing itself like a frozen statue and dying. Rumor has it that some frozen Disufiroa aren't really dead. Interestingly, countless scars can be found on its wings. They may come from previous battles it has had.Disufiroa's weapons have a new element called Frozen Seraphim (Japanese 熾凍), which is a combination of Fire (80%), Ice (80%), and Dragon (40%). A fun fact about Disufiroa and Shantien is that both are weak to each other's elements, more so Disufiroa. From the beginning of its development, Disufiroa's whole design and concept is meant to reflect "strength." Throughout Monster Hunter Frontier G, Disufiroa is called "G's Strongest" (Japanese Ｇ級最強), plus it's the second Conquest War monster introduced to Frontier. ---------------------------------- There has been unusual activity at the World's End recently. It looks as if Disufiroa has returned, but something seems different about this individual compared to the last one. After Monster Hunter Frontier G5, it had two smaller updates in-between before G6: G5.1 and G5.2. In these two updates, Monster Hunter Frontier introduced a new addition to the Conquest War system called the Solstice War (Japanese 至天征伐戦). The Solstice Wars were special in the fact that the monsters that appeared in them were at their highest level, Level 9999, from the start. Like Conquest War monsters, these monsters had increased defense and attack power, making them much stronger than any average monster. Not only did these monsters get a buff in their stats, but these monsters also gained new moves and another phase to their battle, bringing out their full potential. There are only two Solstice War monsters in Frontier, and the first was Disufiroa. It had made its grand return! Though most Disufiroa die once they lose control of their power, some have figured out ways to free themselves from suspended animation upon freezing themselves. Once these powerful individuals have reawakened, they'll surround themselves in fire, melting most of the ice off their body, before fighting more fiercely than ever before. When it was first revealed that Disufiroa had come back stronger than ever for G5.1, everyone was speechless. no other theme in monster hunter sounds just as utterly doom-filled and terrifying. everything about this monster is so well crafted and intimidating. alatreon is something else

This quest still gives me ptsd even after beating 3u all theses years.😟

I personally like the world version more because it feels smoother to me, but I understand if it doesn't feel as intense to you as it is in this one. But with that in mind at least give them some credit for trying to modernize the song in world and also as a song itself, like I feel like ya'll don't give it enough credit. You can have the opinion of saying it's not as good to you, but at least critique the song on it's own without comparison and bias.

How to solo, Jhen armor clust jewels, jhen barrel, jhen mid, alatreon stock. Sleep clusting all day. Or you got Ceadus top, chakrahead, deviljho mid, chakra legs and cead arm, I think we use to get like 10skills from that combo
