I’ve been searching for several hours already and I can’t find a way to get from Tirana airport to Ksamil other than a taxi for 300€. I feel hopeless. We are arriving at 16:30. Maybe you can help?
@@iraoreshnikova2084 sure with pleasure, you can take a taxi or buss from international airport "Mother Teresa " to tirana 15-20 minutes drive, after you can catch a buss or van or minivan from Tirana to Saranda wich cost not more than 10 euros, after you can find for sure van from Saranda to Ksamil. So all the trip from Airport to Ksamil maximum cost 30 euros per person.
Hi there! We are in love with your videos! We are Albanians🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱 and been in the US for 25 years, professional musicians worked at OPERA In the center of Tirana! love the way you speak the truth and nothing more! Albania is the most beautiful country in the world! Hospitality and the help you get from people that you don’t even know it is unreal! That’s how Albanians are, all have golden heart! I dont want to talk about the food that is incredibly incredibly delicious! thank you so much Naomi for mentioning that mother Teresa is Albanian, people think she is an Indian. As Albanians we are so proud of our country and the flag 🇦🇱🇦🇱 that flies freely! Wishing the love we have for our country and patriotism that we have as Albanians, to see it in US and in all other countries around the world! To be honest we are jealous that we’re away and you’re there😃 enjoy every second of your time there!!! Thank you again for the beautiful videos can’t wait to watch the next one!
Thank you so much for the empressions and reviews. We will go to Albania this summer cause of your reports and we hope we can see and feel a bit of what you experienced.
@@algil963 hi! Why don’t you try to explain to Central Europeans and Americans what to expect when they have never been in touch with Albanian culture. These are the basics that people should know before coming here. Make it better instead of complaining 👍🏼
It's great how you explain everything in detail, even the smallest of how to talk or order a coffee, etc. I congratulate you, thank you for sharing, my like, greetings from, Argentina
I was blown away by how long people can make an espresso last in Albania. As an American I'm prone to drinking Americanos or "house coffee." But in Albania I learned to make a shot of espresso last 30 minutes or more! I lived in Spain for years so I'm no stranger to espresso culture but Albanians keep it much more simple generally. Maybe the Ottoman influence of Turkish coffee culture? Also, is Luke perhaps a fan of American football?
Thank you so much, we found this video to be very helpful and informative. My wife and I are currently in Tirana, we just arrived this morning and we can maneuver more comfortably thanks to your tips.
Hmm, i do not think all Albanians nod their head to say no and shake their head to say yes. At least thats not what i do. Suprised where this thing came from! Its quite funny haha!
Absolutely beautiful experience exploring around... keep safe guys we are looking forward to see more beautiful places you visited... happy new week...
Nice video with great tips! Any extra advice about public transport/ busses? Albania is the first destination on my list though i have a lot of doubts only because of the busses..
Just speak with the locals and they will guide you with the buses! It’s super easy once you speak with a local and get a basic understanding of how they work
I've discovered Albania as well and am so glad to see this video. One thing I'd like to ask, at the end who did you say was of Albanian descent? I didn't understand.
Your videos are gonna explode right before summer travel season, keep up the great work, Luke gets great foootage with drone. These videos are even more helpful and enjoyable for Albanians who live outside the country and come back in millions every year. I hope I see you when I travel to my homecountry this summer
True and very helpful as always. Where will you be on 14th March for " The Festival " (Dita e Verës) ? We will be in Tirana. followed by Athens for Easter (22nd to 24th April) and onto Zakynthos for my wife's 70th birthday, staying with our Albanian friends / family, in Alykanas.
Hi Naomi & Luke, like your video. I like traveling and plan to countries in the areas of Montenegro, Albania, Greece, etc. How is the racial harmony in Albania? I'm from Jamaica with an African heritage.
Hey!! In Albania 🇦🇱 it is very relaxed and we can pretty much guarantee that you won’t experience any racism there. Montenegro to be honest is not as relaxed as Albania. We experienced some nasty people just because they thought that we were Americans… Thanks for watching!
I am from Albania and here is all relaxed, specially with foreigners. No matter where u come from, u would be more than welcome. In our ancient traditions, the guest comes first. Then, someone who comes from the land of Bob Marley, truly would be so amazing. Do not wait and come here !
I will be visiting ambania for a week in August. We will visit durres, berat and tirana. Can you tell me if albania takes euros as well? How much is taxi from tirana airport to durres?
We both love the Packers! We are both NFL fans for years and chose the Packers because of Rodgers and Davante. They have a great chemistry, and we love cheese too!!! hahaha
Not trying to be rude, but why would you say don’t travel to this country in your thumbnail/picture of the video. You said they are some of the friendliest people and that is was an amazing country.
Because the thumbnail does not say "do not visit".. it says "Do not visit, before you know these things" and the video is to promote the country. It is created to make people click and then watch the video. Thats all!
@@indabatravel01 that’s what Marketplace is for. Usually when you go trough agencies they’re going to ask for commission etc, so we’ve never done that. You can also join Facebook groups and ask there. The majority here in Albania is done through relationships 😅
@@indabatravel01 I am the owner of two apartments and I always use the free online service to rent my apartments. By using this links I avoid real estate agencies which I have to pay them for the service.
Po and jo with head movement is wrong! I still don’t understand why people focus on these minor thing like bunkers and gestures to alienize us ! We are just like other people just poorer ! ♥️
Well, Naomi and Luke, that was disappointing. Stuck in a hotel room talking about Albania. Couldn't you have waited until it stopped raining and then gone out into the country? Looking at your room there, we all might as well be in Des Moines or Oslo.
We have 6 months worth of Albania content Peter. Unfortunately storms and rain aren’t under our control, we learned that as kids. Thanks for watching one of our videos, you should check out hundreds of hours of our other videos exploring Albania 🇦🇱
@@TwoMadExplorers Hi, Naomi and Luke. I'm afraid I won't be watching hundreds of hours of your Albanian videos. The fact that you have hundreds of hours of Albanian videos should be telling you that it might be time to do some editing. What would you rather do? Wade through endless hours of mediocre material or enjoy a few well made videos?
@@peterjgeraghty Oh we are doing just perfectly fine with the videos we have thanks 😊 Since this is our full time income and supports 2 people travelling the world, I don’t think we need unsolicited advice from a bystander who has never produced something similar. Good luck with spending your clearly valuable time commenting on other videos online. My suggestion would be to focus on things that enrich your life pal, maybe go and do some of your own travelling.
People should know that foreigners are huge targets for rent prices. INSANE airbnb prices in Tirana. Your slice of pizza will be $1, your rent will be the same as San Francisco even though Albanians pay $250-$400. It's a sick game going on if you are a foreigner looking for accommodation in ALBANIA. Hey Albania you aren't Italy ok?
