Albania - Assassination attempt on Berisha

Hopes are fading that Albania's elections willl be able to go ahead later this month in the wake of an assassination attempt on President Sali Berisha on Wednesday (04/06).
The would-be assassin, 25-year-old Ilir Ceta, 25, attempted to lob a grenade at the president during a campaign meeting at Rrushbull.
The incident is the third violent espisode so far in the run-up to the June 29 poll. Earlier this week, two bomb attacks in the capital, Tirana, injured 28 people.
