Bilal, I am really enjoying your Balkan series, primarily because I was stationed in the Balkans for 5 years, working for the UN. Your inability to go to Kosovo therefore came as a disappointment. I so wanted to see Pristina from your eyes again. Anyways, great effort. I have spent a very good time there and know all of these countries like the back of my hand. @@Ali-pd3gh Lets talk with proofs and historical facts..Albanians are the descendants of Illyrians without any doubt..Linguistically this is a proven fact because today Illyrian language can only be translated in Albanian,Mythology as well proves that and last but not least DNA proves we are native to the balkans,if you take a look at the haplogroups living in Albania you will realise that..Now Historically Alexander's the Great mother was a descendant from Pyrus of Epirus who was Illyrian,nevertheless that doesnt make Alexander the Great Albanian,because we cant claim Illyrians as Albanians only for ourselves..A big part of Bosnians are Illyrians as well genetically,some Montenigrins as well and some Croats,mostly Dalmatians..But Linguistically and culturally we only kept the traditions and language and Pagan faith of theirs until recently..My family is a proof of that,we never changed to Christianity or Islam we remained Pagans to this day..We believe in the Snake,Tomor,Eagle,Moon etc etc as very wholy symbols..Every Thursday when i used to be a kid we had a ritual staying around the fire with the family to discuss and eat..Because the word Thursday in Albanian is Enjte=En God of fire..Illyrians had him as well..As well we use scarecrows even to this day in south Albania Muslims,Christians and Pagans on every house to scare the evil spirits all of us..

Many Famous macedonian are being considered as hero in albania because of their ethnic connection with Albanian for example Mother teresa who died in india she is macedonian by nationality but albanian by ethnic. Dua lipa famous singer is considered as National hero, she was recently given Medal by albanian president, dua lipa is Macedonian but by ethnic she is albanian Albania believes everyone from balkan countries with ethinic connection with albanian are considered as albanian regardless their citizenship or nation they was born. They do also have right ro live in albania for free AKA freedom of movement and have right to become president also right to earn citizenship

there is no greek minority in Albania.. They are fake albanian that sold their nationality for money.. Though there is a huge albanian minority in Greece they called arvanitas and almost 1 million albanians in Greece after the communism ended
