Today we are exploring Gjipe Beach, Dhermi Town and Dhermi Beach to see if they are Albania's hidden paradise. We look a day trip from Himare to the nearby locations of Gjipe Beach and Dhermi, however, these places were not what we expected!

What time of year were you there? I find your videos very honest and helpful. We are looking at Albania for our first overseas holiday with our children. So sad to see the beaches like that. Glad you show us the good and ugly.

I'm so glad you like our videos! We visited at the start of July, so it was starting to get busier. Albania is such a beautiful country to explore, I'm sure you would love it! Where abouts are you thinking of visiting?

@theendlesstravellers we are planning to go mid to end of June. Which I hope is beating the crowds and at the same time will be warm enough to enjoy the beaches. Thinking of Shkoder (saw you last video, loved it), Kruje, Himare, Vlore/Sarande, Gijrokaster. How does the beaches compare to Greece? I really want to experience those turquoise blue waters and nature without the trash. 💚 from 🇿🇦

@myfarmkitchen7492 you should be able to avoid a lot of the crowds. They are all such beautiful places, we will be doing a video on Kruje too, so hopefully it will help. We found the beaches to be genuinely better than Greece, as the waster was a lot bluer, however, most beaches have sun loungers on, so it is hard to find space if you just want to put your towel down

The beach made me laugh as your so right instagram pictures are not always reality, I’ve seen some places on my travels and thought this is just a lie lol , cheers

Gjipe along with Dhërmi & Palase and Ksamil off season are within my top 5 beaches in Albania! Do not miss Jale beach guys

It was more the fact that everyone on Instagram shows it as a hidden paradise that no one goes to. We wanted to share the reality of what it is actually like
