Our fans are great, and always friendly and festive but the team is shit 🤮 It always seems like they focus more on the propaganda and pumping up fans with false hope than they focus on improving their game and skills. I can't accept being fed with an empty spoon.
Yesterday I saw the football match together with many Croatians, Albanians and Spaniards in Berlin. The atmosphere was competitive but really good! Yeah, the Balkans are very relaxed. They just tried to exterminate each other recently, still have violent clashed between different religious / ethnic groups, still require UN blue helmet troups from starting to kill each other again (in some parts) and still consider people convicted of war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity to be National heroes.

As an albanin i cant express how disapointented and sad I am at the same time we played really good and had the spirit but tactics and bad luck let us down we could have equalised in the 89th minute that was unlucky and they didn't give us the corner to add insult to injury we played our reserve goalie the first choice wasn't available. Congrats to Italy though they played good tactical game.

We played like shit, so many holes in our defense, and 0 pressure to the opposition, we had the ball for a decent amount of time and did nothing, barely attempted for an attack, we drove the ball to the half line and stopped going forward, if our gk didn't save so many shots we could've lost 4/5-1, we played much better in the qualifiers, and Italy played it safe in the second half not giving us chances for an attack so it sealed the match
@@imprfctgoose No offense but you played way better in the qualifiers because the two best teams you had to play were the Czechs and Poland. Italy is on another level entirely compared to those teams.
@@TurboFist0 I dont think so, in the qualifiers we had drive and were eager to score and win by actually creating chances and using counterattacks well, its not like we had much competition mostly, after that 1-0 loss against poland, we thrashed Czechia 3-0, but against Italy it looked like we didn't want to score especially in the second half, we didn't press Italy, we barely even made it past Italy's halfway line and had any shots generally, Italy didn't perform too good either especially in the second half, but they were set with the 2-1 I guess and avoided making mistakes by not letting us counterattack, if they play like that against Spain though they're definitely getting thrashed as well, I don't know if our players had a lot of anxiety due to this being the first tournament in a while and especially because we have Italy on a really high pedestal and respect them a lot. I hope the team can get their shit together before the match Croatia. I only expected a draw in this group after all This is a little long

@@rocc0g34 "Dominating" a game and "smashing" an opponent are two completely different things. A team can dominate an entire match with 20 shots on goal, but still lose against a team that only had 1 shot the entire match. Smashing means you beat a team by 3+ goals.

We ended last euro taking a goal at minute 2 in the final with England, started new Euro with the resolve to do better than that and took one before the half minute mark! Congrats. I was equally shocked and amused, I laughed for 10 seconds straight. Then started to worry. Thankfully things were restored quickly. Sometimes a slap in the face is blessing in disguise.

I was sweating icicles, when Di Marco made that colossal blunder and Albania got ahead after half a minute. Anyway, Italy were sound and (perhaps a tad too) prudent, in the remainder of the game, and I'm rather reliant we can do better than many pundits and fans expect. Then, of course, it's going to take more than what the squad showed yesterday, in our next match against Spain... they pack quite a punch and Spalletti will have to come up with a very versatile strategy, not to let them overwhelm us especially in the midfield. We'll see... forza Azzurri!!
No matter what it was great to see the Albanian team that made it until the end by just conceding to 2 goals against powerhouse Italy. I don't think anybody expected them to actually win the game and I was afraid that this would turn out be a disaster like the other games we've had this euro cup since yesterday. Italy.. Lots of work to do, you couldn't score more than 2 goals against a small inexperienced team like Albania, a win on paper but certainly need to look into this cause it's embarrassing
