Please david don't waste food. You order a lot of stuff and just gove it a taste. There are many people in the world who don't even get one proper meal. Please don't waste your food 🙏🙏🙏
@Davidsbeenhere then it's fine. I told you because here in India we don't like wasting food as you might have experienced when you were here, so I told. Cool bro thanks for replying..
This is a historical city in Albania. The food in this part is phenomenal too. For all tourists that wish to visit. Albania is one of safest countries in Europe to visit regardless of what you hear about Albanians outside it. Anyone who has visited this beauty flm country can vouch for this. Thank you David!
Those 3 guys who disliked this awesome video god bless you guys I dont know what will make you feel great....Man this man in this Pandemic days he is showing us happiness at least have some courtesy...Love you David from Mumbai...Man your Legend
The qeleshe, or plis also, is a traditional Albanian cape, and his origin it comes from ancient times, since Homer times or even before. Is a pagan tradition. A beautiful share for Albania!
I got my whole family to subscribe after watching your Albania tour. Love the videos Your presentation is on point! We live in NY and haven't been back in a while but after this we're def going next summer.
This episode was amazing the beautiful food the skilled hands creating those wool hats and shoes he was very talented the shops were very nice thanks for sharing your adventures with us
There is no hustle and bustle in Albania, life runs slowly at a normal pace. Plenty of time to kill and simply enjoy life every single day. Not a rich country but very quality life.
Hey bro, very interresting to see that hat making, very intessif to create . Loved to see the whole town, looks great, want to eat the food . Thanks for teaching us about this wonderfull country
Hey ya that is my home town and I used to play there (in the castle) when I was a little boy. My family still lives in the castle. Long time I haven't been there tho
David i am Albanian and still learning a lot from your videos! You have such a nice personality and a great approach to our country. Thank you for your videos and for letting the world know our good side! :)) Best of luck!
David, please tell the Teespring to put Kosovo on their ordering shipping site, cus i couldn't order a t-shirt cus of that. Thanx and i enjoy your videos so much!
The lamb shank you were eating it looks to me like it's litte bit undercooked and it looks littel bit rubbery thank falling of the bone like in Turkish style cooking. I still give a like, but my advice to you is try to promote things done in perfect manor, beacuse if it is not done right that can be reflected negatively on the food culture of the country you are in, Albania or elsewhere make sure you do it right.
I really felt my age watching this when the flattened prune sheet was difficult to identify but also met with wonder, joy, and a bit of confusion. When it first was shown, it hit like a ton of bricks.....I said to myself, there's a Fruitrollup....lol.......but I am 110% sure that one is MUCH MUCH better. They were commercially (mass) made here when I was a kid and one could buy most fruit flavors in many stores. Long story short, I have not seen those in decades and possibly they stopped production many years ago. If you saw one laid out next to the one on here, they look too similar:) Great vid and all the food there looks wonderful, I say from Mountain to Gut:) Keep up the great work.
David you did not tell us if Albania is worth it from all the countries you went to, the food you ate and the nature where it is better and as a country and as a people, tell us your opinion with your experience that you traveled and enjoyed everywhere what your opinion is now about Albania?
I can't wait to go back to Krujë and buy a qilim for my living room. 2:21 it's called "pistil" Also, you should have visited the ethnographic musem, it's the most interesting part of Krujë, the rest it's just a taste. Maybe next time.
Very interesting process of making qeleshe. I did not know that there were so many shapes of qeleshe representing different areas in Albania. Albania as one of the oldest countries in Europe has a diverse and rich culture. Food is great. I will never forget the appealing smell of food when walking around the streets of my city Elbasan.
Have not been here since my college years in the early 90’s. Thanks for this and all your other videos. Am bedridden with Covid so your videos take me to better experiences! Thank you!
Yes you are right, she was born in Skopje, and her family was Albanian. After Skopje, they moved to Tirana. Her real name and surname is Gonxhe Bojaxhi.
@lagjes cuni2 I believe it was a Turkish vilayet at the time since that region was under Ottoman occupation, as well as majority of the current Macedonian territory.
@lagjes cuni2 Yes, Shkupi it was an Albanian Vilayet, but under the Ottoman administration. I speak only the fact. The majority of the population was Albanian.
@@ZoranTech Don`t tell lies, mother Teresa said it her self that she has Albanian heritage, from both parents. Enough with this discussion. All the World knows that she is Albanian. You can say whatever you want.
