Albania is by far the best adventure/travel destination for all cathegories of travelers, biotourism, mountain tourism, beach tourism, history tourism, religious tourism, fauna toursim, whatever you want. Level of freedom there and the vibe is unmatched.

We have this in Pakistan also. It is called lassi. It has a very cooling effect on the body. Especially after eating certain foods that have a heat affect on the body, such as meat. It is very common in Turkey also and is called Ayran there.
It is called “dhalle” and since it had chunks in it, it was not made from yogurt. It is the more traditional and difficult way, obtaining it from what is remaining after taking out the butter from the milk. The chunks are little peaces of butter.

The flag was a flag from the Roman Empire then used by the national hero Gjerg Kastrioti ( Skënderbej ) When the Albanian's got their freedom from the Ottoman the Arbëresh in Italy suggested using it as the national flag. So here we are now

The accommodation was so great! The guy at the coffee shop near the river showed us some pictures so we wanted to go, but in real life it was even more beautiful. Just awesome
The double headed eagle cones from our national hero’s family crest, Skanderbeg, who borrowed it from the Byzantines. The heads also symbolize north and south of Albania, it is also the 5th oldest continuously used flag.

This place is really special. Power of beauty. For who likes to move to Albania, buy an old village house and renovated, have a job which can get around €500 a month or if you can work online, buy a car and enjoy nature. Village life is cheaper than city one.
What do you get when combine a yurt, yak skin blanket, a Nazi bomb, and sheep lamb kebab? This video silly! So many interesting things in this video lol. As an avid camper, that yurt was so cool! For 30 bucks that's definitely something I would do. Those goat cheeses look so good and that 71 yr old guy seems so happy... after a few drinks... before work lol!
Hey Steve when you going to Gjirokaster don't forget to make a quick stop to a small town called Libohove. It's worth it cuz you'll find the paradise over there.

Guys after Gjirokaster you should definitely go to saranda which is kind a hour drive and you'll loose your minds by the beauty of this city.then the ancient city of Butrint

The experience you shared was most spontaneous and that is what I seek. Looking for the real culture Not Tourist Spots, and as you say having a car or transportation is key to that experience. The video is a bit long but I enjoyed your cultural experience and the nature waterfalls, all excellent. I imagine winter time is snowed in there so this would be a seasonal experience correct?🙏🙏
