If by "Grilled" you mean she was asked stupid questions that she answered directly and respectfully, sure she was grilled.

She is one of those few politicians who actually answer the questions logically. Unlike other politicians who always divert questions, aka JT..... Parent should have right to guide the child. We aren't just a birth machine and let the Federal government to take control of the kids once they are born.

We are talking about children. If a doctor is prescribing hormones and chemicals to change a minor's sexuality they should be charged for sexual assault of a minor. If the parents are giving consent charge them as accessory. Leave the kids alone. They can make these decisions later in life as adults.

It’s looking like Premier Smith is the best thing that could’ve happened to our province at this time.

It's really absurd to see transgender activists and supporters say "no one is giving children surgery" but when a Premier limits surgery to over 17, those same activists are outraged.

I agree with our Premier. I love my kids and would die for them. But I often have to say NO to their requests (be it more screen time or more junk food, etc). They often complain when I say no and I explain that the reason I sometimes have to say no is because I care so much about them, and as the parent, I have to make some calls they may not like, that is for their own best interest. I also explain that if I DIDN’T care about them, then I would just say YES to all of their requests and whims because literally I wouldn’t care what it means or does to them. My kids understand this explanation. They understand that kids do not always know what’s best for themselves, and parents who care will sometimes make decisions that they don’t like. They understand that it’s easy for someone to say yes to everything because they simply don’t care the consequences and my kids DON’T want me to say yes to everything- they want me to care and they accept my No’s. I support adults who make decisions about themselves. I support kids who may need additional resources to help get through a tough time at home or school for ANY reason. I support parents being informed if their child is going through ANY difficulties at school no matter what it’s in relation to. It’s not contradictory, it’s common sense and compassionate. Also the question about why she goes by her middle name is stupid. I hope that “reporter” feels stupid for it but I’m certain she doesn’t.

Holy smokes. Still boggles my mind that this is an issue. Kids need to be guided, loved, and disciplined. We have a society of self entitled adults because of this. A lack of guidance and leadership is going to make our lives very difficult.

I support these policies. They protect children AND parents rights. I wouldnt let my kid have a smartphone until they were 13, nevermind hormone therapy or surgeries.
