Great performance, cool trick. Penn said it all when he described the amazing atmosphere. You really do bring people back in time and it's very entertaining. 😎
Seen your show in Hungary today. The atmosphere you, Laura, and your contraptions brought to the show was exactly the experience i wanted out of this night. Your last act was really captivating, but the levitation was the absolute wow moment. Think you got quite a few whistles there.
Thanks so much for your compliments. I'm glad that our atmosphere has left you something magical and above all that you wanted to share it here with us. The Festival is wonderful every year. It is organized with a lot of passion and competence. Don't forget to come back next year. We were delighted to have been called this year to be part of the cast. We also bring home something wow; the magic of Budapest.
I've been a big fan of Penn & Teller for a while now. And I think this act of yours has quickly cemented itself as one of my favorites. Absolutely impeccable and artistically spectacular. Please keep up the amazing work!
Wow I felt like this brought me to a whole different century of a magic. The whole act had a great story and plot. These are the type of magic that I do not know and have me wondering how he did it. This was amazing! Thank you for sharing!
I’m not usually for romantic theatre Magic but this was beautiful and pretty cool. I’d hope that his full shows carry a theme the whole way through it. There’s a great opportunity to tell a story with his being the villain and being defeated and reborn as a hero- or so we think.
@@crustycurmudgeon2182 Thank you very much. No, there are only a few acts in my yt channel. The full show is only in the theater and is a collage of my acts.
Beautiful aesthetics. You're right to choose the Victorian period, it was in the middle of the pre-modern and modern world, and there is something magical about that.
Glad you cleared up when the “Victorian Period” as if it in itself didn’t clearly date when it was. 🤦♂️ next are you gonna tell us it’s dark when the sun is on the other side of the earth?
Everything about this was magical. I truly felt transported into another world and time period. Might be one of the best stage illusions ever performed on television.
He always puts a personal touch on illusions like this that make them look better. My personal favorite is his own special version of the Disembodied Princess. His and Laura's presentation is so unique, makes it mysterious and almost macabre.
Your act reminds me of the movie The Illusionist. The athmosphere, the feeling that the mistery of magic and science are one thing. Thank you for that experience. :)
That was INTENSE!! I've seen lots of, as Penn said it: "those who try to go there", but MAN you went that extra couple of miles... BRILLIANTLY! The "liquid essence" of your partner was pure fantasy movie magic-- just stunning! BUT!!! Not like in the movies, there was no "creative editing" to pull this off-- it happened in REAL TIME on the stage-- my mouth was agape the whole time! I thought for sure that Penn and Teller would miss the mark. But, sadly, they hit it (whatever that was). I guess you took an old trick and polished it to a perfect gem-- I can't see another magician topping that. Not at all. I was stunned, amazed and applauding every step you made (without understanding any of it). Alberto, you RULE!
I'm glad to have given you some unusual emotions in addition to the illusion itself and above all that you appreciated many details in depth. Thank you for sharing your thoughts here.
Venderei l'anima a Giorgi per fare da spalla a Giorgi! Il migliore illusionista italiano senza alcun dubbio! E aggiungerei anche, il degno erede di Wetryk 🍀
she was in the table the whole time, her feet in the space thats in the right legs and ladder. also there is that black metal space adding to the thickness of the table, you can clearly see it because the background is not all black.
I don't care much for these stage illusions. I don't really fully understand them, but I understand enough that they don't fool me. However, I loved the atmosphere and story of this illusion, and it was beautiful to watch. Thank you :)
Io l'ho trovato molto suggestivo, decisamente riuscito nell'intento di portare indietro nel tempo lo spettatore al punto che ora voglio un frac e un monocolo! E un bastone.
I wouldn't be so sure about the things you said. There are more things in heaven and on earth, than you can imagine. Anyway thanks for the compliments.
quite a nice take on a not uncommon illusion. I enjoyed it, but as it didn't fool me, I'm not surprised it didn't fool those two very experienced magicians either.
It's a show and my intention was to pay homage to two artists I admire. It wasn't important to cheat them, it was important to show them my idea of magic.
If by staged you mean faked in some way, no, it's never. The audiences see what Penn & Teller see, main difference between studio and home audience being that it's edited for home audiences, especially long talking parts at the end are made shorter, sometimes they might have to re-shoot something to get better camera angles... but you see the same trick you would see if you were sitting there. That for me is really big part of the charm, knowing that when I see something that appears impossible, it wasn't created in the editing room, that it would have seemed as amazing and impossible when witnessed live. A really magical feeling.
@@Massenstein "main difference between studio and home audience being that it's edited for home audiences," That's what i meant. I might have phrased that wrong.
