Basically there wasn’t much of a language barrier. Some basic Spanish from secondary school will help or google translator. We went during the Easter weekend which I wouldn’t recommend because stores were closed Good Friday and glorious Saturday. Panama has a heavy catholic following so if you do go that weekend go for 5 days and not 4 like me. The mall usually opens 10am so we will go when it opens. Or like 10-11am. depends on the time of year will determine if the mall is full or not.
Prices are much better than trinidad for sure. It has a variety of stuff from very cheap to very expensive all depends on what you want to buy. When it comes to the high end brands like Gucci etc the prices are higher than the states.
