Here's a list of albums that I personally wish came out. I'm sure this will age like fine wine. SUBSCRIBE & follow meh • Twitter - / onlysmallbites • Instagram - / onlysmallbites • Patreon - N/A
The Frank Ocean house album that was slated to be released in 2020 (Titled either PReP+ or Look At Us, We're In Love). Obviously cause it's Frank it was extremely hyped but there is just a mystique around this album. The singles were fire, with In My Room being one of my favourite Frank songs ever. He opened a club as well which was gonna play heavily into the sound and atmosphere of the album. Pandemic delayed the album (the music was made for clubs which were closed) and then with the passing of his brother the album is seemingly shelved forever
Household Objects by Pink Floyd is definitely a great example of an album I wish came out. I found out about it from ARTV's video, and it sounds so cool!
Best Bites(the legend has returned) 0:50 sacrafice cliff 1:43 bites caught you in 4k 1:55 kayne thanks bites 2:09 Kayne gets dumped 4:45 hj sees a bites video!!!(cool man) 6:05 I thought we got views? 6:20 famer bites + drake 9:25 mj and quincy play chess 10:35 oh no that mailman is here
The album I wish came out is SMiLE by The Beach Boys, it's definitely their best work and even though there's an album called "Smiley Smile" that came out in mid '67, its a watered down and worse version of what SMiLE was. It wasn't fully recorded but what WAS recorded is spectacular.
Doom actually released what is thought to be the rest of the missing note book rhymes on his sound cloud as he randomly put out 7 new tracks on there after the projects cancellation
One that I wish happened was Gorillaz' Sea-Sides album. It was supposed to be a b-sides album of Plastic Beach, as they did G-Sides for their self-titled album and D-Sides for Demon Days. I personally blame The Fall for it not coming out.
I don’t blame the fall, I blame the label and Plastic Beach’s commercial performance. It didn’t do as well as their previous records, the label wouldn’t give them the budget for the Rhinestone Eyes music video as they thought it would flop, and plastic beach was part 1 of a bigger project called Carousel. There’s snippets out there that were saved for the sequel like “Leviathan”. Damon begrudgingly made Doncamatic, a more commercial song, because the plastic beach singles weren’t getting any air time, and dropped it as the 4th single instead of Rhinestone Eyes. He even called it the most generic pop song ever. Rhinestones Eyes turned out to be the bigger song and one of their biggest singles. A lot of money was put into phase 3 outside the music, especially the tour, that it almost killed the band as they went into debt. We would’ve gotten more content from phase 3 if it wasn’t a “flop” compared to their first 2 records.
Haven't watched the vid yet but I really hope you talk about XCX World by Charli XCX. It's absolutely horrible what happened to that album and epecially with Sophie gone now, not ever being able to hear those finished tracks is tragic.
It suuucks Puppy was never released; Brockhampton were really on an uphill trajectory towards mainstream stardom and I really feel like, from the snippets we'd gotten, Puppy would've gotten them there. Yeah they have a dedicated fandom but I don't think it's anywhere near as big as it could've been. The album they released instead of puppy was still good but without Ameer it didn't have the same bh vibe and I feel like that for sure slowed their growth. What happened with the Ameer situation was terrible and for the most part I'm glad they decided not to release something Ameer had such a heavy hand in making, but and the same time MAAAN I NEED a full version of 'let's get married'.
Bh got a lot of elements thrown their way, most out of their control that sadly worked against them ... Im so pissed that they could have been a cult classic cool modern boyband type band... Really sucks to see them end this way yk
At this point every single day i pray for Kevin to finally leak puppy, I'm so sick of waiting them fire tracks and those sick Ameer verses in actually good quality fr Edit: at least upload Ready For War in CDQ please Kevin
@@MustafaSaid not sure what the exact logic is, but the folks that have the Brockhmpton leaks have made a ton of money selling them in small groups. Like a couple thousand or so for some small fry tracks. Ready For War CDQ with the Mary J Blige feature is the most in demand BH track, perhaps there's no attainable amount of money for it they'd be satisfied with or they just want it for themselves, not sure tho
Hey new bites Btw: there is a quadruple album called nordland by the Swedish metal band bathory, but only part I and II where written and released because the only permanent member of the band Thomas Börje Forsberg otherwise known as Quorthon died from heart dieses, so we actually would never see it even if we ask the record label Edit: is that the nordland IV would've the last viking themed bathory album, because Thomas planned to return to early extreme metal after the nordland quadrilogy
its so crazy cause i just got into Brockhampton last year or so (before that i was bumping a couole songs) and after learning the history of all the stuff happening with ameer and false allegations for the other members, its just sad how these guys dont really want to do this anymore but its understandable. i hope this last project is good. roadrunner was fine but i think its not worth it being the last album they release
Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis were reportedly working on a collab album before Jimi passed, and I feel like that had potential to be an all time great record.. Also Maclib (Mac Miller x Madlib) and the rumored third album in the swimming & circles series would have been great to hear
Yo bro, I think I subbed to you when you were at like 700 subs, back when Daft Punk split up. Not much longer later and you got a whole check mark. The growth has been insane mane, and you deserve it for sure. Keep moving up bro, we love to see it.
Really wanted Detox by Dre to come out that leaked "Die Hard" track with em sounds so good if only the leak was higher quality it would be great not to mention all the other fire tracks and beats we'd get. I hope his album with Snoop Dogg has some songs/beats that would be on Detox
Honestly i'd really love to see ye's "Thank God For Drugs album" Even though it was reworked into yeezus tracks, "Talk To Me" and other demos show how yeezus was before Rick Rubin's Involvement. It's kinda the same thing with the first and second version of donda (Donda With Child) & (Spirits over the Horizons)
Man, being a brock and ye fan was rough. Thank god Kev's been active with the final albums updates though, Im a lot more optimistic about this one actually releasing
Two albums come to mind. Waterparks' Friendly Reminder and Third Eye Blind's Ursa Minor. I'm not too bummed on them being scrapped, but I do feel curious on what they could be.
I'm hoping the Guns and Roses album that they're working on comes out before they retire or one of them die. I also can't wait for October 20th for Hackney Diamonds to release. I can't wait for Sabaton to start working on more story packed albums from wars of history's past.
An honorable mention for me is X's original bad vibes forever project from 2017, track list was given with features from suicideboys, pouya, fat nick, doja cat and Adam 22. would've loved to hear that version over the random features given on the "official" release
Only unreleased album I wish came out was The Paper Kingdom by My Chemical Romance. The other two I can think of by artists I care about (Pink Floyd's Household Objects and Green Day's Cigarettes and Valentines) were both replaced by better ideas that the bands had their hearts in more. Even Paper Kingdom was cancelled because it was getting unhealthy to keep the band together, but it's such an interesting concept. I guess there's also Songs from the Black Hole by Weezer, but most of those tracks have official recordings released in some form, and the ones that don't are interludes that had their sheet music released (this is how I know I like it better than Pinkerton) so it's not too big a "what if."
on the topic of good ass job: on a whim in a conference in chicago in sometime 2019 i believe he announced that good ass job was gonna release WITH chance. had me quakin in my boots. probably more lies but it sucks to have learned about good ass job and it fizzling out, then hearing it announced again with another one of my favorite artists, then it fizzles out again and i guess we’re getting watch the throne 2? i honestly guess not
sad we didn't get more from westsidedoom than the ep, they had really good energy together. also there was another scrapped doom Collab album that escapes my mind.
This is such a deep deep cut but I remember in the late 2000s, I would watch a ton of Def Jux videos and Aesop Rock had his channel. He had one video where he had a beat from Ratatat and he wrote on it, I think recorded it and performed it on the same night. I think they had some type of project brewing. Probably just a few songs for an EP but I really wanted that Aesop Rock & Ratatat album! “Whiskey tango foxtrot… do the foxtrot” Edit: ok I rewatched it. It was an album (or collection of songs) between Despot and Ratatat called “Bad To the Bonaparte”. Aesop just dropped in for a feature and an appearance on a show. He was not on the whole thing. Ratatat and Despot made a song every day on tour together and were gonna release it at the end of the tour buuut NOPE. At least we got a few songs from the three
I was worried you weren’t gonna have a package for, uh, Misser Bytes in this video, and then at the very last second it happened. Thank god, the video felt so naked without it.
Ameer was in what seemed to be a album release stage, with two singles then it abruptly stopped around the time the end of brockhampton stuff happened. And with a collab album with merlyn pretty much confirmed, I feel like it’s safe to say he is gonna be on the final album
Nah man the band is low-key split in half rn, dom has said a lotta band members have personal issues with ameer still, he's not making it to the final album lol
To me the most important unreleased album might be Deftones' *Eros,* you can tell they were giving their best on that one, and then tragedy hit 'em, and the album was hold in respect of Chi Cheng, their bassist, who got in a coma (and eventually died) after a car crash. The whole story about Eros is just heartbreaking enough, and then you hear *Smile,* the one single from said unreleased album, and you get destroyed by it, that track just takes your emotions and obliterate them, specially if you know what this album means, both as a product and in a meta level.
The only album I wish that came out was Cigarettes and Valentines by Green Day but hey we got American Idiot out of it and most songs from the album were included in other albums so it's not that bad I still want the studio recording for the title song though
