Usually the are using E flat (Eb standard or D# standard). In sapphire - Drop C#. You can look at the tabs, they could have used other tunings

I know that this song is in a dropped tuning, I dont know if its drop d or d flat but yeah. I used to play this all the time in high school. Beautiful song. A little harder than youd think to nail those clean parts. He does it so perfectly here, truly a master at what he has created.
