I believe Macadams transforms into his Prime form, like how his 'normal' form is his avatar while his 'prime' form is the one he used back when Cybertron was just being formed
Alchemist is a shapeshifter, he doesn’t really have a set alt-mode. He changes form on a whim, and doesn’t concentrate much on a single thing so he spends a lot of time as a disparate jumble of parts. He can turn into anything he can think up, which in this case was evidently just a pile of guns and assorted weapons.

I never seen Megatron so afraid before. Even better, I never seen the autobots and decepticons been so afraid like this before when Maccadam transformed into something terrifying. Now this is a first.

Under a more competent writer, this would be far more poignant. Unfortunately, because this incarnation of Megatron acts like a two year old when you take his toys away when he gets mad, it just makes Megs look like a complete wuss, especially when he basically goes: "You have to come out SOMETIME" like a bully waiting outside of the arcade.
Me too! But still I love how they kept us in the dark about it. All we needed to know was that it's big, and so scary looking that it commands respect even from Megatron himself XD
Considering, all of this drama was to infiltrate Deadlock/Drift into the autobots ranks, Megatron probably didn't expect Maccadam get angry, but still played his role well
@@Boom__6678 same. Much of this show takes ideas from the IDW Transformers comic continuity from 2005-2018 with nods to other series occasionally popping up. I personally am not a fan of what they did to Thundercracker, making him from a somewhat moral and learning Decepticon who eventually cut ties, and turned him into a fumbling Decepticon grunt in this show. Then again, this show has a very small budget so, they can't exactly tell the entire comic in an animated format on a small budget now can they?
Yet personally I think it was more effective that they didn't show it directly. Just the rising changing shadows and MEGATRON of all mechs about to oil himself sells it more than enough.
The transformations that even the audience cannot see are the most magnificent ones by default. I doubt any amount of time spent working on his model could capture how epic it was. The response from Megatron was all we needed to know.
I always thought that Maccadam was Vector Prime due to his knowledge of the future as well as his transformed mode appearing to have gears like a clock would
Perhaps that could be a running theme with the Thirteen Primes, they have that geared clockwork aesthetic except for Thirteen himself since he was reborn.
This makes a whole lot of sense after the reveal he spent a good portion of his early life fighting Alien races to expand cybertron and ended up opening his bar at the entrance of the same titan he fought for. He's just a warrior who finally come home open a bar. His days of fighting far behind him. That's why he hates fighting so much
His transformation feels more like the mangled form of Amalgamous Prime. Wish we got to see the rest of the Thirteen apart from Trion but it was awesome seeing Alchemist as Maccadam confirmed. :)
If one of the thirteen most powerful Cybertronians to ever exist decides that he’d like to just sit down, kick back and pretend to be a humble bartender…I feel that it’s in everyone’s best interest to leave him be.
You know I always wondered why did he turn into a mass of gears and parts isn't that whole you know a bunch of different parts strewn together kind of amalgamous Prime's thing
@@KQS4556 Alchemist Prime possesses an artifact known as the Lenses, which are permanently bolted to his optics. He invented them with Solus Prime’s assistance. They grant the wearer the ability to see into the future, though not necessarily coherently. As for the Vector Prime, he was more of a chronicler of the past as best as I’ve seen it.
@@ghaniKSW2 I think it's from the Comics, where he comes back as a Stealth Bomber version for revenge, not against the Autobots, but against *ALL* of humanity.
@@ghaniKSW2 What shocked me about that version was Starscreams reaction when he thought the other Decepticons were "Desecrating and Defiling their Fallen Lord's remains, to make gross parodies of his weapon form." He was about to personally execute all of them on the spot, until he heard a newly Rebuilt and restored Megatron speak up from the shadows. He was genuinely surprised by how Starscream *ACTUALLY* was sickened and concerned about him.
Bit of a fun fact! Although Mccadaam is actually Alchemist Prime, the silhouette of his transformation actually resembles the art of Amalgamus Prime in the Covenant of Primus.
It would have been amazing had megatron learnt this lesson eons ago (because drunk gladiator) and tried warning the others not to pull weapons out, just threaten.

Understand this is not some comical lighter and softer Megatron. He KILLED Starscream for his betrayal (after Starscream took one too many rounds of verbal abuse). And Alchemist Prime still terrified him!
This is how a prime should be written. When he\she puts his\her hand to the table,no one dares to cross him\her due to do his\her presence. But still be humble enough to make them feel comfortable in his\her presence.
Maccadam seems like one of those people that, even though he doesn't like fights, he will get involved to stand up for someone or against someone, even against tyrants like Megatron... though to be fair he IS a bar owner and obnoxious bar fights are bad for business.
There are few things in existence that make Megatron, ANY Megatron, want to go piddle and poop in his metallic diapers... And ladies and gentlemen, I believe Cyberverse finally gave us another one!

I wish cyberverse should have gone a little better like add in more characters and humans at least bring back Peter Cullen and Frank welker as optimus prime and megatron same for siege on Netflix
