My story is similar to Heather’s, but I came from the more “poor” end of the spectrum and I completely understand what she means by feeling emotionally wealthy. My mom and dad were obsessed with working so much to make money and distract themselves from working on their own internal issues that there ended up being a strong lack of emotional connection within the family unit and my siblings and I were routinely abused and neglected by our step-parents who stayed at home with us. My dad tried really hard to love us the way he wasn’t when we was a kid but my mom was still struggling to see the worth of herself and her role as a mom to us. My father eventually retired from the Air Force to take care of us but I had to runaway from my mom and stepdad’s because the abuse got so bad from my stepdad. My dad, having 4 divorces at the time and paying child support, did a lot of house jumping and couch surfing with his friends and some family for us to survive cause he could never afford a home, even being a retired Veteran. I have been living in my college housing for a place to stay since 2017 to this day and I am currently being blessed by the universe to be staying with my well-off scholarship handler and her family at their place for winter break. They work for a non-profit organization and are currently managing their connections and pulling strings for me to receive trauma therapy and are teaching me how to love and support myself, as well as ask for help without feeling shame. The family I’m with is so loving and so genuine and so incredibly different from the dynamic I grew up with and they make me feel so welcome here and so fulfilled with the wealth of love. Trauma definitely helps you grow deeply and healing it internally is so so soooo important in order to feel the love you deserve. Thank you for sharing your story Heather, and to anyone out there going/have gone through anything similar, you were made to be stronger than the average person because of what you went through and you WILL overcome your obstacles and find your happiness. You deserve it ❤️

It isn't money thats disgusting just like it isn't guns that kill.people. They are neutral tools in the hands of people. Abundance and choice in the physical experience are not evil, but wonderful and create expansion.

I don't know who else needs to hear this, but listening to Heather's stories finally allowed me to have compassion for my childhood self who lacked any form of love or financial security growing up. I had many of the downsides but none of the upsides Heather mentions about her experience. This isn't to say one is right or better. It's that I so admire what Heather represents and have often wondered, why do I struggle to connect with that version of me? The one that is grounded and free. I do all the inner work, and have yet to see it reflected in my physical reality specifically in the form of finances / money. Hearing her story helped me see how I was not afforded any sense of safety in this realm as a child. I was able to imagine how my sense and beliefs around money would be different had I grown up with material luxury. Again neither is better. But I have been beating myself up for not being able to "manifest abundance" when really, i am - it's just taking a while to get through all the early wounds because there are so many of them. I know everyday I am getting closer. Thank you Aaron for hosting Heather and thank you Heather for sharing!! ♥️

Sometimes when you realize that you're a spiritual person, you also feel alone because for most people, it's all about the physical and material. It's cool how channels and podcasts like Aaron's and Heather's can give us something to relate to, get inspired by and look up to... I love it.
