Hi - have just finished your Beginners Masterclass modules and learnt some new techniques, thank you. I now know how to enhance a resin piece that I wasn't happy with! I have used clear resin finish on alcohol inks before but never resined over the top with coloured resin - thanks for showing how it's done.
It's so gorgeous! I started out using inks in resin and now I'm going through basics and learning all you can use them on. This is absolutely gorgeous!
Really love the video! Having a hard time figuring out what board you use though? Would love the correct spelling and potential vendors I could purchase the board from, thanks!
I did one with just resin with pigment &.alcohol ink and didn't like it... I tjink I'll try this method qith a base alcohol ink layer for more water color effect then accent with resin. Thank you!
I just googled it. It’s the material they make those plastic covered signs with. Like the signs people have made when they’re running for office. There was one manufacturer in the US.
Can you share the US manufacturer that you found? The signs that people us when running for office here in the US are corrugated plastic. These boards look stunning and I’d love to try one. Thanks for your help
Heyyyy,,,,,actually I’m so new in alcohol ink art….and recently I make a alcohol art after that I pour resin on my art…..alcohol ink just start coming out from paper…..plz tell me why my ink is coming out
I think I know why that ink granulated on you. Those Alloy inks must be mixed with Blending Solution, not alcohol. I hope it helps you for future projects. This turned out beautifully.
I have two types of resin...coating/casting resin from EZ Cast and a doming resin (EX-74, the folks from F.E.W. told me this was great for a glass tabletop) from F.E.W. products. You can mix a large amount of the EasyCast, but only small amounts of the doming, as it gets hot and begins to cure and harden shortly after mixing if you try to mi a large batch. How much of the resin did you need for this, and am I on track with how to use the two? I tried to mix about 4oz. of the EX-74 and it got hotter n' Hades and solidified in the cup!
@@sherivegasartist Hi Sheri I'm in the US the colors you mentioned can I get them here in US and the board you used not a canvas correct? You used aluminum board as the canvas correct? Hardware stores here to get. Lastly What size is the board you used ty I want to try this asap.🥰
I’ve been trying to use my alcohol inks on ceramics mixing them with 99% alcohol but the thicker bits seem to go a little sticky and never seem to dry down , does anyone have any advice on how to get it to dry completely ?? TIA x
@@sherivegasartist I’ve been trying to use different varnishes but most of the ones that I have found for artwork seem to contain alcohol, I’ve been using various spray can ones, is there any brand or type varnish that you would recommend ?? Thank you so much for getting back to me ❤️❤️ x
