I did this project but a drunken driver when he drinks after entering into vehicle he may not necessarily blow every time into sensor.can we have any alternative??pls reply as soon as possible.i need to give a seminar on dis tmrw.
A drunk driver can easily bypass system by blowing fresh with the help of other devices, is there any option to detect the alcohol consumption using other ways
This sensor is place in the steering. It can detect the alcohol level only for the driver. If passenger has drink, it is not an issue. As it doesn't come in the sensor range
Actually I had done this project last year. For every 5 seconds, sensor will see whether the alcohol present or not. If it detects the alcohol, the ignition won't switch on. When driving, if the sensor detects the alcohol, then it will give a beep sound, displaying on the LCD screen, that alcohol is detected. After 4-5 minutes( we will give the delay time as required), the ignition will switch off. In this gap, the driver can park or take the vehicle to the side.
