I still do. Most I’ve paid this year was 150 but it’s bc I had a 4th of July bar b q and invited over 20 friends over. I usually spend under $100 for 6 days of food, for a family of four. Now if I went to ShopRite -- for $100 I walk out with half a basket of groceries.
You are always supposed to open the carton, move the egg around a little to see that they're not cracked and stuck to the bottom of the carton, or that it's not missing one and if it IS missing one, take one from another carton... because the next person to go in and buy eggs should be doing the same thing that you should be doing- which is checking the carton for cracks or missing eggs. The employees most likely go through at the end of the shift or at the closing of the day and check to see if there are missing or cracked eggs. They don't just throw away 11 eggs because it's missing one out of the carton.🤦🏼♀️
@@nicolesymonds2349if a carton is missing an egg, why would u open another n take it from that? Why not just leave the missing one n buy the full one? Also, as an employee, we find people steal eggs. Like one egg from multiple cartons. Not sure how or where to store the eggs so they don’t break. If ur gonna take 1-5 eggs from Different cartons, just take the whole damn carton. Don’t make extra work for others lol
Aldi’s is now a weekly stop for me. Almost everything I buy there is less expensive than even Walmart, including organic milk. Their German chocolate is less than $2 and delicious. I am a new fan, but if price alone is important, you can save a lot of money over the long run.
@@Greeko_Poloz I make a packet with aluminum foil and cook it with a pat of butter and some salt in the air fryer- 4 minutes at 350° then flip the packet and give it about 2 more minutes.
@@traceyb3231 I can’t remember for sure but I think around $8 or $9 for a bag with 3 or 4 small tuna steaks in it. It’s a splurge for sure but I enjoy it occasionally.
Well what else was he suppose to do? 😂 take an egg from the egg fairy? And who knows he might have given the carton that hd took an egg from to an employee
@@Mink_Tracks he was supposed to let someone know this one has a broken egg in it, and grab another one. Now somebody might accidentally go home with the one he took from.
@@crustyflatonion9595yeah i get thst but it’s common sense for everyone to check eggs though before buying. Do u expect every person to report a egg carton that has broken eggs in it ? Lol
There are a lot of great “Aldi Specific” items that I get. I always get the frozen salmon. It’s pre-cut without the skin & each piece is packaged individually. If you like salmon, you should definitely try it. It’s a great quick, healthy meal for us.
Yaaaassssssss!! Good haul. I grab my pantry staples like preserves, ketchup etc..the season has changed so out with the old and in with the new items to try there. Great content 👌🏾.
I love ALDIs as well but NEVER BUY their Pizzas. It just tastes off. Also sir, I buy their tuna steaks all the time, but unfortunately I do not think it is sushi grade as you mentioned because they do cut into the veins which beeds out into the flesh of the fish and can also be a little sinewy
Wow! Your Aldi is nice! Mine is horrible, never go there. However, they are building a new one that is on my route to and from work. When completed, will give it another try.
@AZHITW Could be any number of reasons. When something like this happens, I check with City Hall (if it is an important issue to me), and or the town hall minutes of the meeting. That information is typically discussed.
I love shopping at Aldi. I just tried their hearts of palm angel hair pasta and I feel like it's a good alternative for when I want pasta. Only 4g of net carbs and can be made in a variety of dishes 😊
Yeah, they just started stocking their store brand version of oikos triple zero vanilla. Unashamedly grab 4 tubs of it that I devour in less than a week every time I shop there
You should get a dehydrator and make your own biltong or jerky. You can control the ingredients, plus you can get and freeze meat when it's on sale to make it.
@@zxyt9866 no? I eat breakfast lunch and dinner every day with a snack... same with my wife. We cook all of our food and it is all plant based... its $120/week total for 5 days of food.... and it is a lot of food because its plant based. and before you throw any comments about oh plant based this and that... I am not vegan... I do not eat plant based ONLY.... but for 5 days a week I do other than protein shakes after the gym...
Aldi has some of the best deals, I always pick up a couple Boxes of Stuffing Mix (Cornbread is our Fav.) their Breads are cheap and GOOD, they also have a great selection of Cheeses that are better than half the price somewhere else for the same Brand. Always grab a box of frozen Mussels in Garlic Butter and a wheel of Brie cheese for less than $4.00
I don't know where Aldi gets their fruit but it is some of the best I've ever had and i usually shop the stands in my area which are almost impossible to beat
Aldi has a very special distribution system, so the don´t have a lot of warehouses and storage space. Everything is harvested fresh and delivered in time to each store. Other grocery stores order a lot of fruit and vegetables at once and put it in a cooled warehouse and send it than to the stores when it is needed. So a salat was over a week in storage before it arrived at your grocery store.
Crazy, we used to be able to fill up an entire cart and feed our family of 5 for a good 40 bucks when they first came to our state. Of course, this was like 25 years ago.
Exactly. Let’s hope that person checks as well. I think it should be a rule of thumb to always check, I do, and I think most people do as well, but I suppose there are those few that just take a chance.
Also in the US at least, there is no regulations to “sushi” grade. Its just a label that sounds great but is no different on average than any other version of that fish.
Aldi prices always come right if you try a product and dont like it they refund it no problem the mac /cheese in cooler is so cheezzzy real cheese low priced to
Their ground lamb is really good honestly try that and the cauliflower pizza is clutch honestly. Overall love Aldis, their chicken breast are one of the best bang for your bucks
Everyone commenting his expensive this was, but he got tons of sushi grade ahi, grass fed steak, and bags and bags of jerky and other meat snacks. That adds up fast. I thought the price was good
German here: aldi is amazing, you get brand quality goods for a decent amount less + frequent sales from aldi itself. Trust the process will save money!
5 bucks for tuna from Thailand. Yuck. I fed it to the hounds after one bite. Want GOOD QUALITY tuna go for GreenWise Yellow fin tuna steaks. That’s real tuna.
Whoaa. Whoa!! Publix is the only place where shopping is a pleasure.. and increases my dividends with every purchase you make . So plz.make sure you're taking advantage of publix bogo sales and delicious deli sammiches 🥖
