Red cabbage & apples is a pickled, German side dish usually served with pork chops. Or any kind of meat, fish or poultry. My great grandmother used to make it and can it for winter. Delicious! It's not used like saurkraut at all. It is its' own side dish.

Danube ( Dunav) waves / is cake with cherry, vanilla Cream sponge cake / with cacao. And on top Melted dark Chocolate . People it in in Austria, Hungury, Croatia , Germany, etc. Thanks for showing that cake on the other side if the world. Greetings ! 🙂

I use the red cabbage & apple in a pork roast recipe. Pork takes sweet well. The original recipe called for sauerkraut and a beer. I use the red cabbage & apple and a can of pepsi instead. Cook it in the instapot. So good
