I'm having SO much fun with these videos! I'm working hard on new ideas that hopefully feel like my older videos but with a fun twist. I hope you guys like them!
We need a whole series, ths is my new favorite from Ro. I just know this costs many of skills to do this, thank you Ro. Thank you for speaking out on the Mr. Beast controversy ❤
I felt like the Aldi one was kind of skewed on the “best ingredients” at that store because you can get Irish butter at Aldi (which is higher quality than regular butter) , they also sell organic eggs and milk, and organic cane sugar.
I agree. Those were not the best ingredients Aldi had to offer. Aldi stores in my area always have organic butter, organic milk, and often even free range eggs. Some in my area have organic sugar but not all.
Great that you incorporated the feedback. It seems much more fair now, and it shows that you put equal care into each of these gorgeous cakes. Awesome job! Oh, and the longer butter sticks are the standard I've always seen, but I often get a 2 lb. log of Amish butter from my local farmer's market.
I am so in love with that slightly lilac pink color you got using the natural food coloring. I got to try those! I guess the floor loved your cake so much it had to get a taste too 💔
@@nailsdidbyaylin3704 not since the things that were happening wasn’t happening to her. And for what happened to her, she can’t technically sue for that since it’s not illegal to rig a video.
In Germany there is "Aldi-Süd" (Aldi south) which owns "Trader Joe’s" in the US and Aldi-Nord" which owns "Aldi" in the US (same store/family in Germany, but some drama and two brothers and so two "Aldi").
Hi, Ro! I’ve been watching you since the Disney Princess video. You’ve helped me so much, anytime I’ve been depressed. I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos. ❤❤
Ro: Repeating her Aldi's joke, "Aldi's ingredients" about three, & or four times. Me: We got it the first time Ro. LOL!! Love your sense of humor. 🤣💜 EDIT: Ro, thank you for the like. I had to go back, & edit something, & your like disappeared once I edited it. LOL!! 🤣
RE: Butter shape, apparently on the West Coast, there is a processing plant that uses the short, squat shape, and on the East Coast, there is a processing plant that uses the long narrow shape. We had the same short butter in California.
Hey Beautiful Ro, Girl, honestly, I don't even like sweets, but I'm still watching because, its your channel, you're the best!! & I Love You So Much Ro!! 🥰💜
Awesome video, it goes to show how much wedding cakes are really marked up. Even Whole Foods cake was cheaper than they charge you for a wedding cake that size. I know you spent probably like 2-3 hours on each cake. I’m guessing most wedding cake people only use the cheap ingredients and that cake would probably cost $600-$800. Meaning even if you paid yourself a $100 an hour for labor plus costs. You are still seeing a huge mark up. Thanks for having a such a good spirit and making one the cake twice. Love the kindness and thought you put into these videos.
I love these kind of videos Ro!! Thank you for doing what you do. You put so much work into your passion. I am so glad you are speaking up for what is right and it is awesome that you are still going even with all the hate you have gotten. You’re an angel 💕🧡
You just made my day 100x better, with this video!! I enjoy watching people make wedding 💒 cakes 🎂 and the fact that you uploaded a video on making wedding cakes 🍰 just made my day 100x better!! This is why you will always be my favorite RU-vidr and I’ll always be a member of your Fansino Family!!🩵💜🩷💛
I looovve when you are back in the kitchen making your beautiful sweets , I’ve been watching this RU-vid channel for years and it makes me so happy to see her baking again ❤️❤️❤️
Just a little fyi to anyone who doesn’t know :) Organic eggs are no better than non organic eggs unless they are organic pasture raised. Cage free means they aren’t in cages but stuffed in barns, free range means the chickens have a small area to roam, and organic eggs just means they just feed them an organic food. Pasture raised chickens are the only chickens who have free range to roam without being all stuffed and bunched together with other chickens.
This is such an interesting video. Would you put links for the utensils you use and like the turn table, or do an Amazon link to shop all your favorites?❤
Ro, I’m glad that you’re speaking out about mr beast! It’s so obvious that he’s trying to silence you! You’re an unproblematic person and one of the kindest people I have seen on RU-vid! I trust you and support you! Don’t let him silence you ro!
Love that you are still speaking up. Girls on Do We Know Them shared your videos in support of you. The ugly truth is coming out and love that you are staying strong.
RO I LOVE THESE VIDEOS!!!! Let's do more of these comparison videos, next I'm thinking Aldi vs Walmart vs Whole foods so you hit every price point. Low mid and high, and with different types of desserts !!! ❤
You were one of the first RU-vidrs I’ve ever watched as a kid and I’m 19 now I gotta say watching a video when it’s been so long your voice is so nostalgic 😆 your always laughing and having a good time definitely gotta get back into the videos !
Thank you for being such a light ✨️ 💛 I never knew how toxic the microwave could be until you spoke! I hope yall have an amazing weekend 🎉 shine bright ❤
Way go to mike I love your cake perspective. Bud. Ultra thought provoking. Ps magnificent hair style as well keep it like that. Very angelic ugh we love you.
Thank you for doing this video. I love stuff like this, that "can you tell the difference" stuff. Sorry you dropped the cake. My first thought was that 2/3 of it is still good. I might not eat anything off my floor, but your kitchen is so impeccable and your cakes look so good that I'd be willing to eat a little floor cake.
Looks very delicious and beautiful.Your videos are awesome😊😊I’m starting to bake more.I made Strawberry Cheesecake Cookies and they turned out so delicious and my family loved them❤1 Aldi 2 Trader Joe’s 3 Whole Foods
I love that you’re talking about grass fed meats and dairy and natural colorings! More people need to know about this. Good job using your platform for this 🩷
Haven't watched much of the video yet, but want to predict right away that they won't be able to tell the difference. If they can it's probably purely because of the darker vs lighter sugar. At the very least, I know when heated in baking, vanilla quality doesn't matter. Quality of vanilla only matters if you're adding it to something raw, like in ice cream perhaps.
Very surprising results. The fact that they could tell the difference with Vanilla probably means you didn't adjust the amount of vanilla to match the source, because this has been blind tested before and no noticable difference was found when it's adjusted for strength. I get the darker sugar; that's probably the least surprising. Interested in why one tasted more buttery though. Wasn't expecting that.
Yeah glad they looked very similar this time! I am from Canada and for the most part our butter come in solid one pound blocks. Only the expensive or imported butter is in 1/4s. Long and skinny is what i have seen😅
I love that she still explains the steps in every video 🩷 she could easily just link a video of her teaching how to do a cake and move on to the next step.
You should bring back some of your older merch! I started watching you when i was 12 and im 19 now and STILL use your nerdy nummies spatula its truly the only spatula that has held up for 7 years !!
