I could never see myself giving Rosado the pact ring but regardless of how he looks there is nothing wrong with that. But there is nothing to hate about Rosado, he's a awesome character with a good heart who knows how to make people smile. He sees the positive in everything and takes up weapons to defend the beauty of the world.
It has pretty much become a classic move to have a character like this one in terms of appearance, I mean we got Yuri from three houses, Leon from echoes, Forrest from fates, and Libra from awakening, and thats just the more recent bunch, there are a bunch more in older games.
I believe it's waiting until they "come of age" (since they're under 18) when they it it on their middle finger, keep in mind some JP convo are a bit different

Well, at least they keep them as interesting characters instead of boring ones. Yuri is a good character from three houses, since he has ties with a lot of characters. Though to be fair, pretty much all of the ashen wolves have ties with the base game characters.
