AuGh this song hurts, I can relate a lot to the lyrics after being in a toxic friendship for almost five years. She was so abusive to me verbally and I began to get into self-harm wondering what I needed to do in order to please her. I had a gut feeling to leave but I just couldn't. I cared about her too much to leave and I kept convincing myself that she would get better and that it was me that was the problem. The final few months of our friendship grew so bad that we stopped talking to each other and when we did it usually led to her accusing me of being distant even though she purposely made me feel like a pos in anything we did in the friend group I met her in. I was in the bargaining stage of grief for so long. I would apologize to her for stuff I didn't even remember doing. I literally asked her at one point how I should act if it meant I could still be her friend. I didn't even recognize who I was anymore. I was disgusted at the idea of me being so obsessed with someone that I wanted to be a completely different person, but I was so lost and thought that was what I was supposed to do. Eventually I couldn't put up with it anymore and I blocked her on everything. But I didn't even feel relieved at that point. I felt extremely guilty. I kept spiraling in and out of suicidal thoughts, I couldn't live with myself knowing someone hates me. Suffice to say, with intensive therapy and an amazing support system, I'm proud to say that I've finally accepted myself for what I did and that she wasn't right for me. Even the people who are still friends with her are starting to realize just how problematic and manipulative she is, and I'm grateful they aren't listening to the bs she's most likely saying about why we aren't friends anymore. I am now going to be a senior in high school, recovering from two EDs and severe depression, best friends with her twin sister who helped me realize my sexuality, and am also in a loving relationship with my girlfriend of three months. For anyone who has dealt with an abusive relationship, friendship or romantic one, please know that they are not worth it. It is not your fault, despite what they make you believe. You are valid, and I love you so much.

This reminds me of a really old movie (I think it was erased from existence) where this guy was obsessed over his best friend, his best friend was named something like Kyle....? Kyle stopped being friends with him in 8th grade because the main character became depressed. This part in the movie the main character runs away during school hours into a forest after some "phycotic" vision to which he proceeded to shoot himself in the head, but he shot himself in the head weirdly to where he had put his body In shock. He carried on with his life only realizing that a day week after the news broadcasted a missing person report about him. He runs out to the road in front of the police station and screams at people: "I'M RIGHT HERE!?" None noticed the day after that he goes to school, he sits in class but a police officer is talking to the class about the last time they saw him. He sees his "friend" Kyle to which he looked like a zombie from sleep loss. Kyle blames himself for the main characters disappearance and begins to go insane because he can hear the main character screaming IM HERE! IM RIGHT HERE! A nother week goes by and the main character has lost all sanity from being ignored. He goes to his apartment and late in the afternoon a radio station broadcasted the main character had committed suicide in a forest nearby his school. Only to then realize he was in purgatory and that he has been dead for almost a month until they found his body. The day after that he goes to school. The school announces the main characters suicide and the main character goes back to his apartment to come to his reality was distorting and breaking. He gives in and let's go of earth and dies in peace... This was really depressing to write. I'm totally writing a story about this lol
