@@ebifried okay.. so it started when two annoying kids were fighting in the park so in an attempt to one up each other to each other they yelled ur mums green ur dads black.... im sure the kid didnt mean it in a racist sense and we malaysians rarely use the ur fathers black phrase, even if we do, we dont or rarely take offense to the term. we dont really use it to cuss each other out we use it during scenarios for example we almost spilled a drink so we go, makkkk kau hijau while tryna stabilize the drink. its almost as if we use the word while we are clumsy or had just gotten ur friend sneak up on you~ its like when u almost trip on a rock and you accidentally say "ouh dammit". when i migrated to aus i had a habit of saying this phrase at times when i bumped into someone or caused mini accidents and the teachers thought i was swearing until another malaysian student was like nah shes not~
