I think Zach is the best representation of all Alec Benjamin'fans. Always remarking how beautiful his stories are and what he does is art. Also, the friendship in the air is just so lovely. Love them. Also Alec must be protected, cause he's so cute. The thing with his legs and his awkward laugh with his eyes almost closed... adorable.

I really like that this interview is talking about people not being confident with the things they put out, because that’s so relatable and people don’t talk about it enough .

I wish Alec didn’t talk so much shit about himself. His music is different in a good way. I don’t need repetitiveness or a shocking, beat drop. I need a STORY I need something I can relate to and hear and express myself. His music is doing that and has been doing that since even before Narrated For You...

I think what I love about him and his music is how he articulates the feelings of a very self-reflective twenty-something. His interviews show how reflective, real, and humble he is. The first time I heard Jesus in LA I understood that feeling of expecting an experience to be a certain way or give you the answer and it doesn’t or can’t. Mind is a Prison has quickly become such an important song to me. Being in my early twenties and going into “real” adulthood I feel like I am going through that existential crisis and overthinking everything. So excited for this album

PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS

I feel like Alec and I could talk for hours. I completely get the free will question and getting stuck in your thoughts. Some days I’m stuck in my dorm room or the practice room for too long with no one to talk to and I start overthinking and questioning relationships I have with people. During exam week everyone was busy and I was looking for “anyone” to talk to but really there’s only a few you want to talk to but they’re not there and it made me feel like I was going crazy

Just finished watching the full one hour Zach's interview with Alec. Love how vulnerable and yet dedicated Alec is. He is so real and so pure. I love his music and I love his personality. Alec very quickly has become my favorite singer songwriters. "Mind is a prison" is perfection. And he seems like a great person.

Zach you are probably one of the best interviewers. You know about and show such a genuine interest in the people who come on your show. No one else gets into an artists lyrics and their head. I discovered Alec through your interviews and love his music. I don’t think he realizes just how good his music is compared to Top 40 drivel.

I heard "1994" from the Starbucks I worked at and it got stuck in my head after it played for a month. That song has very strong memories for me. It had me jamming when I had to open at 3:30 in the morning.

The constant affirmation that Zach (and Dan) gives Alec throughout this whole thing???? We really have no choice but to stan. 3 kings 🤴🏻 This relationship is so important - there is such a stigma around men and mental health and emotions and stuff, and for Alec to be so loud in his struggles, and then Zach to be so loudly supportive and make sure Alec knows he’s valid in what he’s feeling? It’s what everyone deserves.

Hi sir alec, no matter what, pls know that you exist for a reason. Many suffered that existantial crisis, I did, and that time, i learned if no one is around you anymore, and you cant see someone and anyone beside you, try to look up instead of looking down and sides. You can cry, you can stumble and fall. Dont be in a rush. We are all walking on our own pace, in our own path. Dont compare yourself to others. It is good that you know how to listen (to others) but also listen to yourself, we all need knowledge, but what is really important is to learn how to judge and discern. It is valid to feel helpless if you dont know the reason you are living, like a fan, used to produce wind. Spoon is to scoop food. Etc. Evrything has a purpose. Sir alec, you can as well pray, so you can ask what to do. You may not believe it but it wont hurt to try seek God. It sound religious but yeah. WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY IS, YOU CAN DO IT! (This word i said is double edged since i am as well struggling the same and try Jesus and Jesus is sweet and so i am sharing this)

First time meetings Alec was in 2016 in France when he was opening for another artist. Right at the time when he was also singing on the streets in front of concert venues. I can’t explain how proud I am of him and his journey. Alec has grown so much and is becoming so much more confident. Him getting the recognition he deserves fills my heart. Zach Thank you for helping him opening up and being vulnerable. ❤️
