I am 61 now. In 1969-1971 I came to Harthill from N. Ireland for the Scottish Twelfth in Shotts. My Dad was in Larkhall with his friends & we met up at the Parade. Wonderful people in Harthill I was made very welcome singing in the Miners Club may I say. Not good. I stayed with Wilber & Mary Redmond who lived opposite a dear Wee Friend Pete Willianson. When visiting The Black Watch in Perth I came into Harthill. Brought back some marvellous memories. Thank you all & Good Health to Loyal Harthill
Have to say that is one of the smoothest, fluent flautist I've ever heard! Absolutely awesome. As for the song itself, I can feel the passion and heart in it. From an Orange Brother I salute you all! Awesome!
been lookin for the words for this song for years i flute it every day brilliant GONE THE RANGERS ..WE DONT DO WALKING AWAY ........as SUPER ALLY SAYS WE DONT DO WALKING AWAY.............
This brethren was Biblical, dunno IF Orangemen even give their testimony (how Jesus saved them) anymore before being admitted to The Orange Order ? I do HOPE this is STILL the Way ?.... not simply a man-made -hatred for tarriers like ?
Reece Tees There, there now don't get too emotional it's only a simple song sang by very simple people. Inhabited by obese slappers and work shy guy's in their pish stained trackies and sevco tops that santa-claus brought for Christmas.
