How emotional it must have been for Aled to sing with his boy voice...almost bittersweet. I can't imagine how I would feel. Beautiful track.

Absolutely beautiful! I'm bawling my eyes out now! I do remember Aled singing when he was a little boy, and it always touched my heart and made me cry! He's always had a beautiful voice!

アレッド・ジョーンズさんの初アルバムが日本で発売された時、直ぐに買って毎日聴いていました。あれからウン十年、私のほうは白髪とシワだらけw 昔の自分と一緒に歌っているアレッドさんもやっぱオッサンなってるw。けど、声の細部に子供の頃の声を聴き出す（見いだす？）ことができます。すごく素敵なデュエットですね。ホントに懐かしい。

I find Aled Jones an amazing person with amazing voice. I have never heard of Aled Jones until today while browsing on youtube. Funny, I thought he was still a young boy. He has a God given talent. Thank you for posting.

A beautiful voice at any age. Thank you for my walk down memory lane with regard to the young Aled Jones. I love listening to "Walking in the Air" with the same concept. There is no better blend than the same voice!!

And I should not forget to mention, Aled has been one of my favorite singers since 1998 (when I first heard him on the video "Carols for Christmas" with the Royal College of Music conducted by Sir David Willcocks. The video was from 1983 but I discovered it in 1998).

@@anthonycollins4810 apologies for taking a year to reply! I have seen Aled twice; once at Guildford Cathedral where he knocked into me afterwards by mistake and apologised. My friend was beside herself with excitement!! I went to Bangor University for my MSc and PhD and on occasion, went into the Cathedral there; Bangor Cathedral is where Aled was first spotted as a chorister. He comes from a stunningly beautiful part of the world. Best wishes.

Harry Jackson Hi...thanks for your reply. Looks like my strange sense of humour was lost. I knew it was Aled as a young boy. I'm tempted to buy the album. Am I right in thinking this technique of joining together the young boy voice with the older mature voice has never been done before? I can't think of any. I remember Natalie Cole sang a duet on record with her long dead father. But I can't remember anything like this.

Rodrigo Galvão Yes...I agree that his voice now may be considered fairly 'average' but isn't it to do with an album that he recorded as a child which was never released because his voice was about to break? They shelved it back then 'cos they felt he wouldn't be able to 'promote' it. Even the adult Aled had forgotten about it's existence. In an interview he said he'd been to visit his parents and it was his dad who reminded him about...''the album you made which was never released.' This is it.

Rodrigo Galvão Well...if the public vote with their money what's not to like? I was thinking to myself...will he receive TWO sets of royalties? One as the young Aled and one as the older Aled? Maybe that Q is not as crazy as it sounds especially if the young Aled recorded it on a different label?
