Hey if your reading this, just remember that this pain is temporary and will not last forever, and while your going through it your not alone we are all in this together doing the best we can, I'm proud of you for still being here fighting everyday, cus it's really not easy but you still strong enough to not give up, know that I care about you and I'm glad your here, your feelings are valid and I believe you'll get to a better place with time. My dog is literally the best friend I’ve ever had. He’s taught me what unconditional love really means and has saved me cause of it. It’s haunting to know that I will have to say good bye to him long before I’m gone but I’m thankful to him because I feel I will have people in the future who will help me get through that pain because of what he has shown me.

We lost her when she was only six. The brightest girl anyone ever knew. Funny, friendly, popular. Apparently, all the boys liked her. Kindergarten crushes, you get it. Even to this day, it hurts to look at pictures or videos of her. She didn't deserve to die. If I could give up my own life for her to live, I would. A thousand times over. Rest in peace, Annelyse. We all love you, so very, *very* much. 2010 - 2016.

I'm sorry for anyone that has to go through heartbreak mourning. It can be so so tough. But just remember, some people are meant to be, but not to last. You will find someone else that can give you eternal liveliness, love, and happiness. You just got to keep believing in yourself! For now, just try to give yourself the things that I listed... life will be so much better. And maybe you will find that all you need is yourself.

My dad had two strokes in 2012 and i help take care of him for 6 and a half years, i got him a puppy in 2014 from my best friend and his mom. They were unseparable. My dad passed away in 2019. Rosie was very sad, just like i was. Then on May 8th 2024, my dads dog rosiey passed away. I'm a 31 year old man, but my heart is so broken. Even though i have a woman that makes me happy. My heart is broken because she was so special to me since he passed way. I miss the both of them so much.

My twin brother passed away when he was really young, and I still miss him to this day. We were both born very early, and I'm still fighting through my struggles, and my ups and downs. He didn't speak or move around very much, since he had a brain problem, but he was a very happy kid. I remember seeing his casket being lowered at his funeral, and I was trying to make my way toward it while crying out, "Bubby, bubby!" (That was his nickname since I couldn't say "brother" at the time) and it breaks my heart each time I think about him. I know that he's in a better place now, but I don't understand why God had to take him away so early in his short life. All I want is to see him one last time. I miss him so much... My cat was quiet. He wouldn't say anything or cry out in pain. We didn't notice anything until he started bleeding when he peed. We rushed him to the vet and then the ER for animals, and he had a urinary obstruction when they were about to perform the surgery to help him but, his heart stopped beating. My little boy was gone. I'll miss him for as long as I live...

my dad passed away almost 4 yrs ago. we were just taking selfies and hugging each other on the bed, while waiting for our breakfast then when i got up to eat to, he told me that i must take care of my mom and i agreed after i got back he wasn’t breathing anymore, he died sleeping peacefully. If only i knew that was our last selfie and hug together i would have just hug him tightly and takes tons of pictures. he’s all i’ve been thinking about..

I could've done so much more for my dog but I took her love and loyalty for granted. I miss her and hate myself to no end that I could've been better and never chose to. I remember holding her for the first time a few days after she was born and it hurts in so many ways to think of it now knowing that the last time got to hold her was while she was dying. She was hit by a car around 2021 and my lack of effort for her is genuinely one of my biggest regrets in life. I just miss my dog man, and I wish she knew how much she really did mean to me even though I never showed her fully

Yes, loss of my child selves via chronic abuse. People use prescription drugs, "illegal" drugs, food, religion, work, sport, exercise etc etc. We use any or all if these to block emotional pain, whether loss of relationship, loss of loved one thru physical death, or loss of self thru abuse, especially in childhood.
