Hi Roxi, I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for doing the work that is your channel. I’ve loved chemistry since the first class I took back in my sophomore year of high school, but as I entered into a class as a college freshman where the teacher might as well have been nonexistent, I started to lose my love for the subject. It is safe to say you have 100% brought me back to the joys of this subject. I got an A on my test last week after having legitimately failed the three tests prior to that. In addition to finally doing well on a test, I was able to bring my grade up by 20% thanks to your help. You are seriously one of the best teachers I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. You teach with such an interest in what you’re doing and I truly hope that you understand how incredible you are. My entire chem lab group often refers to you as our angel because you really were our light in the darkness that college chem had been for the entirety of the first half of the semester. From the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you thank you 🫶

Wow Ashley, this honestly made me get all teared up. I really appreciate your kind words! I am so happy to hear of your success and I'm sincerely honored to have been part of your education. Students like you are the absolute best part of my job. I wish things had been easier for you from the start, but I'm so proud of you for persisting, not getting discouraged, and finding a way to be successful despite the challenges that were placed in front of you. I hope that you're really proud of all the work you've done to get where you are. And please tell your lab partners I said hi, and thanks for watching :) I'm a single mom and I'm able to put my kid through college on my RU-vid income, which is the best gift that the universe could ever give me. Thank you for contributing to his education by watching so many of my videos :)
