I believe king was moved to e7 as a defense, allowing the rook to still be available. Otherwise, white bishop would go to c7 to get the queen, then create an opening for white queen on 8.

These recaps would take a BIG jump in quality if it displayed the players clocks and move number. You reference time trouble occasionally, but don’t reference the move number or how close to move 40 they are. Would be best if the information was on screen.

Women candidates have more fighting spirit and they are way less likely to play for a draw than men which is the right mindset I believe. Whole point of the tournament is to win it and get a shot at championship. You can't win with a draw ?
