Cuando estaba en preparatoria en 2009, teníamos una clase de computación en la que no hacíamos nada más que ver vídeos de RU-vid. Mis compas metaleros y yo nos metíamos a ver los vídeos emo de la época y nos daban mucha risa lo agudas que podían ser las voces limpias y sus looks. Here is a story no one asked for but this band brings me back to high school. 2006 found this band and loved it. Showed this to my little sister when she was about 12 and it became her favorite band and she became a metal head. Well now I’m 31 and she’s 16 and I got her tickets to her first show being Alesana in 2023 with a meet and greet. My first time seeing them too. Crazy.

This period of music was so fucking amazing. I miss it so much.

The nostalgia hits hard with this song. Man, back in the mid/late 2000s, post-hardcore was the moment and I said "was" because most bands from that time watered down their sound or simply split up. Alesana still going strong and I hope they keep making music.

This was my gateway to metalcore music although technically their emo but damm their music was the heaviest at that time..i don't know on the underground coz I'm not from the state thats the heaviest emo at that time that we could access to to our limited knowledge of other music genre man i miss those days to discover some music that was so un mainstream!!
