You could set the hi hat as a loop and play to its timing, which is a bit limited when it comes to fills unless your really good about keeping time when you turn on and off the loop. It works with guitar or piano pedals, meaning 2 position switches or just momentary buttons. You could also have one sample just be a song and then trigger that and let it play through. Not sure how long a sample you can upload to the mem card. Its 32gig max removable sd.
