I feel very sad for her because she was one of my all time favorite angel but i think the main reason why Alessandra decided to leave was because VS never or maybe in the mayority of the moments never gave her the real place that she deserved, just opened the show one time in 2009 because Adriana couldn't be there for her pregnancy, in 2012 after nine years (since 2004 she's an angel) she finally had the honnor to wear the fantasy Bra and she just walked un two segtions what is a big BULLSHIT!!! and to end in her final runnaway they decided to change the order of segtions, intentionally????? Who knows but i don't have more respect for them i really hope she rock her businness and her acting career!!

I loooove Alessandra.. And It felt like VS didn't give two f**ks about Alessandra leaving.. They gave more attention to the girls that opened/closed the pink section and almost ignored her, that was with them for 17 years and never missed a show, I mean I thought at least she was going to close the show and not even that.. Yeah I was pissed..

In the live versions, she closed the show and that's how I'll remember it. Why VS did her dirty and basically pissed on her entire career by switching the segments around for TV I'll never know. It made 0 sense to even do it that way considering the lineups for the two sections. I legit feel bad for her because she opened the show 1 time and closed it 1 time and didn't get her fantasy bra until 2012 and yet for some reason, Marisa Miller got a more expensive bra 3 years before her?

Its an end of a great era on VS. I started watching the runway shows in early 2004 or 05 great era of great models like Alessandra, Adriana, Gisele, Tyra. They are the ones that promoted and represented the brand for VS. Im trully sad she is giving up her angel wings.

Love both Alessandra and Adriana and VS messep up really bad for not giving Alessandra more spotlight during her last show. I think they realized it was a big mistake because when Adriana left, they took their time to honor her. Those two are the ultimate Angels.

I think Alessandra announced her retirement right there in Shanghai so VS didn’t make a special segment for her retirement,they just edited the show i think. Unless Adriana announced her retirement right before the show so they prepared a segment only for her.

Yuqi Gao they do the runway twice. She missed the first one because everything was messed up. Then they change the last segment and she didn't got to close the show in the tv option

It is just life always has been not fair for someone who work so hard those years. Can you belive that it took her 12 years to get her fantasy bra. And the new angel only took few years to get it. To be honest, VS has gone downhill since 2013. To be fair, 2014 was the last 'good show that VS has held. Something about their themes/costumes and also casting of the new models does not scream sexy to me. Sexy was the 2005-06 era. With all the original supermodels like Gisele, Karolina, Naomi, Ale and of course Adriana. I was def excited that Candice was coming back this year, But looking at the short videos on Instagram and all that, it doesn't even look exciting. After Adriana and Candice leaves, I'm completely done with this show. So shit.

In my opinion 2010 was the last good shows although 2012 and 13 and good segments like the Diamonds /french castles, Silver Screen and fhe Paris Segments. But that was about it. 2010 was the last show were they had the classical format after that they went overboard.

ICYDK why Alessandra Ambrosio left Victoria's Secret after 17 years as a veteran angel is because of motherhood. Because it is her #1 priority since Alessandra has to take care of her 2 kids, Anja and Noah. In addition, she has to do a lot of fashion endeavors outside Victoria's Secret such as being the face of fashion brands like Balmain and H&M as well as to pursue more in acting since she recently appeared on "Daddy's Home 2" as Mark Wahlberg's on screen wife, Karen Mayron. Today, Alessandra Ambrosio is now the new face for the lingerie brand, Lascana.
