So when I first discovered Alestorm, I found a YT playlist of their stuff and wandered off to the kitchen to get some food wearing BT headphones while it was playing. The song you mentioned started, all cute like it does at the beginning, and then the lyrics joined in. Glad I wasn't eating at that point.

Alestorm's first four albums are so good. they had fun memey songs like this one, but they also had epic songs as well, like 1741 (The Battle of Cartagena), Death Throes the Terrorsquid and Captain Morgan's Revenge.

Their new Ep, released just few days ago it's already a banger! And I think the last 2 albums, Curse of the Crystal Coconut and Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum are full of a mix of fun and enjoyable metal!

Alestorm are just a fun band. Can't go wrong with anything by them, but my personal favorite of theirs is the song "Alestorm" partly because it's a great song and partly because the music video for it is ridiculous. And I think the word you were looking for to describe this music video might be "unhinged".

Again, I have to recommend you check out Brothers of Metal, but in particular, The Mead Song. Same fun style of metal as Alestorm except Nordic themed.

I have a problem with this band, the music is ok, party music, the lyrics are trying to be funny which again to each their own, I have a problem with the people in the band themselves and again separate art from artist and all of that
